In a draft thats very deep at the defensive positions of need, i would take picks for this year and cap relief from their on. Doubt we make that big of splash in free agency but i think we go harder in free agency then last year. We can get the money needed from restructures.
I think I agree.......I would love to have 2 1sts, get JSmith and Tapper back and maybe just maybe get Gregory as well....re-sign Mo and Church and look out

Even if the most we can get is a 2nd for Romo I would take it. So many Corners with 1-2 grade will be in the 2nd round. same goes for pass rush specialist who need to work on bulking up as well as run defense will be in the 2nd.

Sign a stop gap vet for RDE who is having a decent year like Charles Johnson(on pace for 6 sack season. Also one of the leaders in QB hurries this season) as a base down end, draft an all around DE in the 1st or nab one of the many Pass rush specialist in the 2nd round like Ryan Anderson or TJ Watt to develop behind him. So many possibilities. Perhaps take a TE with the other 2nd round pick. I'm liking Jordan Leggett out of Clemson. Compares to Jordan Reed.

I like Leggett too because he brings physicality.

I'm not a fan of these WRs in TE bodies like the kid from Va. Tech.

We need all around TEs and I think Leggett fits that.

Yea give me a 6'4"/6'5" 250 lb tight end who can be an all around player. Not just a vertical threat up the middle who gets blown up when he attempts to block an edge rusher.

I think Romo will garner a much higher pick than what some are predicting. He'll be far and away the best QB potentially available on the market, the free agent crop is a joke (unless Cousins hits the market) and it's a horrible year for drafting a QB. Personally I believe he'll be an Arizona Cardinal. The pieces are in place there with Fitzgerald, Johnson, and the #2 rated defense in the league. I think Arians who coached P. Manning, B. Roethlisberger, and A. Luck would jump at the chance to work with a guy like Romo who'd be a huge improvement over Palmer. Likewise I think Romo would be open to the coach, the veteran presence on the team, a good defense for once, a indoor stadium, and playing in a city that would embrace him rather than crap on him. Currently Arizona picks 9th overall in the 2017 draft and again at #44 in the second round. I think that early second round pick from the Cardinals is one to watch.

Been saying this for a while
