I understand you guys don't want Romo to get hurt but c'mon. He has to play in more than 1 preseason to get fully ready for the season. Roethlisberger and Rodgers just played a whole quarter. He may be a veteran but he still needs his reps.

Not without his OL to protect him he certainly doesn't.

Tony needs to get out there and shake the rust off, IMO, but that doesn't mean he needs to do anything more than hand the ball off for a series or two, and maybe throw a quick slant. The real problem with Tony playing tonight is he won't want to come out of the game, so Jason Garrett will just have to get tough with him and get him out of there.

Good point, but given the field conditions, I'm wary. The next game is the typical season "dress rehearsal" game anyway; and Dez and company will be back, so I hope it's just a brief appearance for Romo tonight.
