JASON GARRETTSo how on earth did he make it to the pros without professional talent?
JASON GARRETTSo how on earth did he make it to the pros without professional talent?
I saw your post quoted but didn’t see the original to give you a like. I thought It was a fair and balanced assessment. Thanks brother. I agree.
Thanks brother. I just based my decision on common sense. Why pick 1 QB over the other when one could have both? More weapons.I saw your post quoted but didn’t see the original to give you a like. I thought It was a fair and balanced assessment.
The comeback against the Falcons was led by Danny White. They are always going to be fluky because good teams aren't often down by that much. Those sound more like flukey wins to me. I mean they came back against the Falcons didn’t they? It was a fluke win and a great comeback but those type of wins are far more rare then you are letting on.
What about him lol? Is this a tin foil hat theory?JASON GARRETT
I’m talking about the one a few years ago where we were losing by 20 points I think in the fourth….The comeback against the Falcons was led by Danny White. They are always going to be fluky because good teams aren't often down by that much.
Oh, I remember that. But we had to recover an onsides kick to make that comeback.I’m talking about the one a few years ago where we were losing by 20 points I think in the fourth….
Yeah I agree that’s why I’m like those games are more flukes you need your special teams, offense and defense all contributing at the same time to make those type of comebacks.Oh, I remember that. But we had to recover an onsides kick to make that comeback.
I never said other QBs didn’t have lowlights. I said I’m not sure there’s another QB that has as many as Romo. His career was marred by untimely mistakes. It created a stigma. He’s best remembered for the bobbled hold on a FG attempt against Seattle in a playoff game. Don’t get me wrong I thought Romo was a terrific QB, but I take exception when fans say we had it so much better with him and that Dak is a choker. That was five video examples. I will definitely not do a deep dive into posting an unlimited number of videos--hosted on YouTube or elsewhere--attempting to counter your suggestion ' I’m not sure there’s another NFL QB that has as many video’s highlighting their negative plays as Romo'. A site such as YouTube alone will have x-number of channels, available from x-number of video creators, who have provided content that I would hypothesize reaches into the hundreds--if not thousands--of videos referencing poor plays by past and present NFL quarterbacks. Nope. Not participating in that nonsense.
Instead (and without engaging in the customary Prescott/Romo tic-for-tat), I will post YouTube results equaling your five representations using Philip Rivers as a countering example. Note: I will use links instead of embedded videos that may or may not show here on CowboysZone. I have a longstanding personal peeve with YouTube not allowing outside sites to play their videos, lol:
Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
Example 4
Example 5
As far as your earlier post, I will insert a partial list of 'lowlight' videos published by the creator (reviewable via this link) of the Romo lowlight video you embedded. Note, the creator includes non-quarterback videos on the subject also:

Okay.I never said other QBs didn’t have lowlights.
He is the reason Dak got a chance. What about him lol? Is this a tin foil hat theory?
How LOW can they go?Romo.
But neither preferably.
Both have the lower gene.
Garrett has been gone years lol….since when did Garrett make gm decisions? He is the reason Dak got a chance.
Any other team would've cut Dak and moved on.
Not to mention, the other team has to fold. Like ATL vs NE in the super bowl, or Oilers vs Bills.Yeah I agree that’s why I’m like those games are more flukes you need your special teams, offense and defense all contributing at the same time to make those type of comebacks.
When a poster back then first said Romo had the "glitch", at first he was ridiculed. But, after a few examples supporting this thought, it appeared to be so. Seems to me that Dak has the same "glitch".I never said other QBs didn’t have lowlights.
I mean, seriously.Dak doesn’t have talent is just…an asinine take.
Those sort of posts are better off ignored. So how on earth did he make it to the pros without professional talent?
Yep. That as well. Not to mention, the other team has to fold. Like ATL vs NE in the super bowl, or Oilers vs Bills.
