I’d give the nod to Romo. I’d like to see what we could’ve done with a healthy Romo in is peak with the OL and rosters Dak has had. It was 2014 by the time we had Tyron, Fred and Zack. Arguably his best or 2nd best season. Got hurt in 2015 and then gone.

I’d like to have seen several years of him at his peak with that OL, young Zeke and then Cooper and CeeDee.

But neither are/were clutch, not to mention also being hamstrung with Jerry’s circus and inferior HCs.

I’m not talking about that game specifically. I’m saying Peyton was a superior QB to Romo so him losing on his interception….it’s just ehh to me.

You can say he’s not gonna have any 2 minute comebacks but he came back against Seattle, DET and Chargers.
One of Roger Staubach's nicknames was captain comeback. He didn't get that nickname by coming back from a 7-0 deficit in the first quarter. Or down by 3 early in the 4th. People wouldn't call them comeback wins. When we were up 28-14 against GB in the 4th, and they came back against us to win, that's a comeback win. When we're up 27-10 against the Jags late in the 3rd and they come back and win, that's a comeback win. Not when you come back to win against a team that got a FG on the opening drive of the game. We're not capable of making comebacks like that for whatever reason.

Seattle was a good win. We had multiple comeback wins, or 2 minute drive wins in 2016.

Using them between games is even more ridiculous. A team needs a leader at the position and the two QBs would not be happy with a situation that. It would divide the locker room. The only time a team has ever done that is when they don’t have a viable consistent QB and are trying to decide between QBs. You’ll NEVER win a championship doing that and no one has.
Here's the thing. Neither could get it done anyway. Romo is a better QB but appeared to be snakebit. Just unlucky. Dak is luckier but not as good at least against good defenses. Together they might have done something neither could do on their own for whatever reasons.

It's a hypothetical and history shows both can't get it done on their own. If you have to go with one or the other anyway, might as well try something DIFFERENT.

In any case, it is what it is and we need a new franchise QB that doesn't choke.

Clearly i'm out of my mind making this comment (there I said it for you, be nice). Either way, we know what Romo brought to the game, he was able to juke a pass rusher like no one else. Dak is a freight train. Neither player was/is known for being clutch. Who ya got, this should be easy!!?
Both were/are losers.
Romo bought into Garrett's pass happy, undisciplined offense and wasted his talents.
Dak just doesn't have talent.
It's a lose/lose, no matter who you choose.

Those sound more like flukey wins to me. I mean they came back against the Falcons didn’t they? It was a fluke win and a great comeback but those type of wins are far more rare then you are letting on.

I don’t care to get into the argument of levels of choker. It’s irrelevant. If one wants to argue with as a choke artist but not as bad of a choker as Dak? Have at it. My argument was never who was the bigger choker it was that they both choke. One guys career is over and the other is still writing his story.
Thats what i thought. You cant face the fact that you are wrong and cant talk about it or provide a reasonable brief rationale.
There are levels of "choking", like every single thing on this planet. The fact that you lack the ability to discern that, or care...is very telling.

Calm down lol. I never said that there wasn’t levels. I just said I’m not interested in arguing a good choke job vs a bad choke job.

And what exactly was I wrong about again?

Dak doesn’t have talent is just…an asinine take.
Not professional caliber talent.
Yeah, he can throw a ball and run as long as there's no pressure on him, but most kids playing touch football could do as well.
Put Dak in a position where he has to make the difference for the team to win and he comes up short.
Every time.

So how on earth did he make it to the pros without professional talent?
