The man clearly wants to play - and who would deny the chance to get rid of any slump issues against a fairly basic Rams team.
Lets be cautious in practice though and give him some handling drills - from snap and so forth, then some quick passing drills, see how the finger reacts.

Most important though - if he does start the O lone will have to be ready and pumped knowing that a big hit could mak ethings worse - we must guard against what is a minor injury to a major one

I want Johnson to start for the simple fact that I think Romo needs to let it heal a little bit before going back out there.

I want to see him back at VERY latest the Skins game. We need him back for the Giants game. I think him coming back for the Bucs game is a good bet.

But I would want him to rest this week and come back against the Bucs.

Rest him this week and until the Giants game. We need him healthy for those games and we can't rush him.

Plus, he's been turning the ball over a lot at full health, with a hand injury it will be worse.

On the whole i agree, and i think he knows the sensible option will be to jet this game go, we should(?) have enough to beat he rams , and then lets evaluate next week.

I think wade let's him play. Part of me wants to see him play but part wants him to at least sit out this week.

I dont know how they can be cautious with him. If he plays he is likely going to get hit, as well as having to take the snaps and grip the ball, all of which could further damage the finger or at the elast cause alot of pain.

I say rest him for a week... if there is any game to rest him in, it's against the Rams. We need him for tougher challenges down the road.

Secondly, the Roy Williams addition will give Brad Johnson some unique throwing opportunities. He'll do fine this week.
