Romo had the 2nd best team in football in 2007. Then he decided to become a tabloid player. This led to the disastrous loss to the Giants.

The infamous trip to Cabo with Jessica Simpson a week before a playoff game. One of the dumbest moves ever. They tried hiding it and it leaked to the media. Witten went along which was surprising. Thought he had more sense.

What games did he build those stats on? Sure, he beat the snot out of some very weak teams, and got a lot of completions and yards against prevent defenses, when the opponents were just trying to run the clock out. His stats are generally pretty mediocre against good teams.

To be honest, I don't remember if Romo had a lot of the same, but I do remember him being competitive against better teams.
