He's taken heat for not being clutch. He's been dubbed the QB who can play really well and get the job done as long as the game isn't on the line and when it is, he chokes. Well, that was not the case for the Giants game. In fact, he came through for us in the final drive when we needed him to win. He also showed a great "heads up" ability when the ball was snapped too high and then another one that went totally over his head that he had to chase.
I think this is a generated complaint by some that want to defend Romo.
Romo led the team to a win.
There have been times he has not.
Clutch is a definition that has no real meaning.
This argument for this game is a bandaid for the wound the Romo fans carry because they feel - like Rodney Dangerfield - they, like Romo can't get no respect.
