Romo will be in the ROH

He should get in not for his play but for having to deal with Jerry Jones and all his stupidazz decisions. That's quite an accomplishment!

Probably will. Jerry has to put some guys in there from the 2000's and on. Witten is a lock. Demarcus Ware is a lock. Two guys from that era? Highly unlikely Jerry would embarrass himself like that.

Unfortunately, Romo will only have the opportunity for team accolades.

This has already been addressed. Read the thread so you won't have to be embarrassed like the others who ran off.
I'm your huckleberry... I ain't ran anywhere...I stated my opinion on it, I just never added Jimmy J isn't up there so why does Romo deserve to be... but like most lacky's you bit on the bait.

If danny white isn't up there neither should romo.

Why? I'm not saying Danny shouldn't be a consideration too, but there is some foundation for Romo having preference over White. Romo numbers are considerably higher in QB rating, games played at QB, completed passes, TD passes etc ... Romo is the Cowboys all time leading passer, and White is 4th.

You cannot compare numbers from the game back then. It's not even the same game anymore.

There are a number of Cowboys who should be in the Ring of Honor. Harvey Martin. Jimmy Johnson. The list goes on.

Unfortunately, they are not in the Ring of Honor. Several people, including Jerry Jones, are responsible for their exclusion.

Tony Romo will be enshrined in the Ring of Honor. It makes sense that Jones should be blamed for his decision-making but why is Romo the brunt of (yet again) overt criticism? Romo is not enshrining himself.

Maybe the answer is simple. Perhaps it is another transparent case of Romo critics' intolerance for him.

It’s not really about that. Danny’s better years were very comparable to Romos better years. Danny just had a lot fewer of them.

Even if you adjust for era, Danny isn’t close to Tony. Danny made one Pro Bowl in a strike shortened year and was terrible in the playoffs (more interceptions than touchdowns). Danny was a good player but the recent trend of people pretending he was even half as good as Tony is pure Dak slobberism. It’s Roger, Troy and Tony.

Well this is a history topic to be fair.
