Hey, he beat Annika Sorenstam! She came in 4th.

I have seen him play in this tournament a number of times. This is his 3rd win. It's a bunch of wannabe golfers, but a win is a win and shooting 69 on any golf real course is a major accomplishment for a golfer.

A few years back when he was going for his first win, all he had to do was par the last hole. He hit his drive long and in the fairway and had a simple 7 iron for his approach to the green. He hit a pull hook into the water! He bogeyed the hole and came in 2nd! At the time I remember thinking it was typical for Romo.

The back of his britches have always looked like Tony's smuggling bags of flour.
It always makes me faceplant when people actually believe that so and so could maybe play on some tour...take your pick which one....with just a little bit more time to devote to it. I've been as low as a 5 handicap and would probably shoot 100+ on any long and tight US Open course....Tony would probably struggle to break 88-90...and that might be generous.

announcers were implying that he gets really tense during key moments and takes too many practice swings. pressure does seem to get in his head. good for him to pull this off though. I was rooting for him.
