Romo Wins This Game

Romo isn’t suppose to come back last year because the ‘team would revolt’ when he finally had a decent supporting cast, but he’s suppose to come back and save the team and season without any practice and put himself and his body on the line to ‘save the season’ the previous year or years before..

And to defend this point, they make fun of Romo’s allegedly brittle body as a reason to refuse to start the much better player..

Got it..

Euphoria. It can sweep you up and cloud your mind. The ganja was strong in 2016 (SHUT UP RANDY!). Jerry Jones was positively giddy last year in September and October. So was Jason Garrett. Members of the media were gushing sometimes. And some fans' elation had them on cloud nine. Late October/early November rolls around. Romo was cleared to return as the starter...

Romo start? *puff puff* Heck to the no. Chemistry dude!

Prescott is still option number one. Yank Romo as soon as he starts to suck.

Romo has always sucked! No more *puff puff* chances. I feel good man.

Prescott is doing well playing along side Super Elliott. Romo had similar results with Murray just two years ago. Maybe there is an important detail that should factor into this decision..?

Zeke??? Don't diss Prescott! He is the real deal. Prescott is now. Romo's history! Besides, Romo will get paralyzed the first time the ball's snapped. Think about his kids. Don't you want his wife *puff puff* and him to have a future together?

It's football. No one is immune to the possibility of injury or worse. It is their decision to play. Put Romo back in. Romo gets hurt. Prescott goes back in. Look at it this way. You *know* Romo will get carted off the field after that first snap and you never cared *wink wink* for him or Candice anyway *nudge nudge*. Am I right? What do you say? Think Jones and Garrett should put Romo back in there before the playoffs start... oops... I meant to say help Romo get fitted for a wheelchair?

Nope. No way. Suck it!

Okey dokey then. Hey. You do know no rookie quarterback has ever won an NFL championship before right?

Suck it!!!!!

Alright alright alright. Dilly dilly.

Even coming out of the broadcaster's booth, he wins this game easily.

See, the difference between Romo and Dak is that Romo could pull off some heroics and win games despite Garrett.

Dak cant.

Romo's career isn’t known for heroics, it’s known for ill timed mistakes. Romo would have never made it to week 14 because he would’ve been done with an injury earlier in the season with the OL issues we’ve had. Just look at some of the hits that Dak took on Sunday that had him grimacing. He’s been sacked 31 times this year and has taken numerous hits that would have kept Romo on the turf. Romo missed games the last three seasons he played with injuries. Even in 2014 he was sacked 29 times and missed a game with a back injury, despite great OL play and having the top rusher in the league who set a single season franchise record with over 1800 rushing yards.

Romo held onto the ball too long trying to extend plays which resulted in some of his injuries. Dak has taken some vicious hits this season that would have put an aging, injury prone Romo on IR. He was able to to avoid some hits that Romo wouldn’t have. Do you seriously think Romo would’ve survived the Atlanta game with Chaz Green at LT? Those of you who think Romo would have made it this far into the season without an injury are kidding yourselves. One too many Houdini spins would have had him crumpled on the turf early in the season. Many here are trying to pin this season on Dak which shows how little some of you know about the game.

Yeah because of fans like you and the media...

Another poster in this thread referenced romo calling protections and throwing to the hot receiver when blitzes were coming, you know, what you’re supposed to do. Meanwhile you laugh at romo saying it’s guaranteed he gets carted off and dak is tough. Great lets keep getting sacked, not score a TD and lose... Then you can praise Dak for being the best sack taker the cowboys ever had.

Darren McFadden rushed over 1000 yards, but our dunk and dunk offense and horrible passing attack didn’t spare QBs from criticism from these same guys defending Dak for his garbage play... now it’s suddenly not the QBs fault... even Weeden threw for 70% back then..

Exactly!

Some of you really need to get over Romo he’s gone and isn’t coming back. He was an aging, beatup QB who was coming off three straight injury plagued seasons which is why he retired after he was released. No way would he have survived this entire season without being injured. Our pass protection was crap this season and we were inconsistent running the football. Dak took some serious hits this season that Romo would have never been able to absorb. It’s laughable for anyone to think he would’ve made it this far into the season without being injured. With Tyron hobbled with injuries all season and missing games Romo would have been left crumpled on the field.

Wishing Romo to return is probably as futile as wishing JG to be fired.

Romo would have gotten carted off the field in this game. Dak was on his back all night.
No QB can play well with that pressure.

Poor offensive design.
This is the same design as last year. 30 point games, 450 yards on offense for 9 straight or something. The QB play went down the toilet!. Who are you people trying to fool?

This stuff on this board is lunacy!

As did Zeke's production. Down to 4.1 ypc this season. As did the OL play. As did the play of Beasley and Witten.
