I dont know man.I am talking about placing the ball in the right spot.He definitely needs improvement.Stats arent fair because they should account for WRs,etc...Hes not winning any dart championships, ill say that.I hope he has improved that.

Romo needs improvement..Most smart fans know this. But I wouldnt even get into a fight with the stat goons. it's such a big waste of time that I have given up on anything that has to do with romo. The season is here and it will answer so many questions.

You might want to check the stats.

Asking a Commanders fan to check the stats is like asking a vampire to eat some garlic or "just take a peak at the sun".

You're threatening to destroy his entire reality.

Romo is inaccurate. /thread.

OK Thank You,I hope it translates into games.I also blame the horrid media for reporting how many times he overthrows a guy.I must realize these guys dwell on the negative.

Yeah I guess the media loves to hate them some Romo, he is the guy next door who became the QB of the most celebrated team in the world and dates supermodel quality women.

I think there is some jealousy involved.

Good Gawd.

What's next? Felix has always been slow? Ware has always had trouble getting to the quarterback?

Yes but u must credit the WRS as well for reaching and catching.Just watch him.I never said he was terrible i am holding him up to the the big dogs accuracy and he isnt there.I am not talking stats,wins,etc...His intangibles are plenty.I am strictly speaking about his accuracy at times.Maybe holding him up to Manning,Brady and Brees is asking too much.IDK

I did not see TO making diving catches hell if the ball was not on the money he would not even go up and fight for it. Sorry I think Romo has issues such as not holding on to the ball when defenders are swipping at it but his accuracy no there is nothing wrong with his ability to put the ball on the money. Will he have throws that are too high or behind? yes so do other QB including Manning, Brady and Brees I think all are very good QB as is Romo.

If you're going to make that argument, you must also bring up how many drops our WRs have had the last three seasons. For every great catch I have seen one of our guys make, there's at least two drops.

no one is saying romo is perfect and needs no improvement, but how do discuss something that is subjective if stats are ignored? it's my opinion against yours and we might as well end it right there.

juckie, if you want to give WRs credit for making adjustments, then you also have to give romo credit for dropped passes that were on the money.

Of course I remember the splint. But his hand was healed enough for him to play. And, as has been pointed out, Romo had accuracy problems before he got hurt. You can't blame the injury for that.

Injured or not, Romo has had accuracy problems throughout his career as a starter. IMO Cowboys fans should hold him accountable for this.
Uh, no he didn't and no he hasn't.

To many people go off stats and forget about the game that was played on the field. Both should go hand in hand for a good debate.

But I agree lets end this here..The season is here We will all see how Romo does. Hopefully He does his best and leads us to a SB:cool: .

Yea, you're right. Romo absolutely sucked last year. He was only able to complete 61.3% of his passes for 26 TDs while playing half his games with a caste on his finger last season. What a bum. Where's Quincy Carter when you really need him?

:shoot6:

he is in DC and currently plays under the alias "Jason Campbell" ;)

i agree, and it's a product of fantasy football, but everyone remembers things differently or different things so that's a hard conversation unless you sit down with actual tape.

Heck I don't even play fantasy football and while stats do not tell the entire story for any player they are relevant.

We have people complaing that we do run enough slant and check downs heck these are the higher precentage passes you can throw, Romo many times is being asked to convert 3rd and long situations and has done a good job at it.

Yes he is going to throw high balls at time as well as passes that are behind but in all the years of watching this game I have yet to see a QB who doesn't. Can he become more accurate than he is now? of course he can but if the issue is Romo lacks accuracy then I would strongly disagree with that.

This is a Commanders fan's interpretation of struggling with accuracy for your entire career.

Tony Romo's career completion % is 63.6 and a 94.7 career QB rating.

2008 was his worst year at 61.3% and 91.4.

No Commanders QB in their 77 year History can match that.

Maaaan, I really like your work.. Props!!!! You still need to hit that button on Sammy Balls tho..:)

Romo's 61.3 last year rated him 16th in the nfl
his 64.4 the year before got him 9th
his 65.3 the year before got him 2nd

anything over 60 is pretty good...

I just would like to see him finish a season without a hand injury. It seems to be a common occurrence. He really needs to keep those hands up.
