Since we are in the position we are in would it be logical to play Romo??

I don't think so.
Especially our last game vs the iggles.

What would be the point???

I think a more basic question is, what does your post title mean?

Why shouldnt he play?

If the bone is healed and there's nothing limiting him physically, why should he sit?

Does every team in football bench all their good players once a season is technicalyl "over"?- No, they dont.

Calm down cowboy ,just giving an opinion.

It's not his throwing arm so why wouldn't he still be able to throw a ball?

As for playing him unless we have a chance at the playoffs he shouldn't play.....not with this oline.

Hell yes He should play. We need to see what this offense can do under Romo for the rest of the year to establish what We have. The Same reason I say play all these young guys on defense to see if they can help the team. The way we run the offense under Kitna means nothing to our future. Romo needs to get in tune with Dez and this new Garrett offense.

Yeah but you know Jerry. He can juice this to sell tickets in December to a team hoping for .500 by hyping "THE RETURN OF TONY ROMO!"

If romo can get us to 9-7, obviously you play him.

You want to play in Week 18.

Romo Throws For First Time Sunday
Posted by nickeatman at 11/21/2010 5:29 PM CST

While winning two straight games for the first time all year was big in its own right, what took place on the field before kickoff was pretty important, too.

For the first time since suffering a broken collarbone on Oct. 25, quarterback Tony Romo was able to throw the ball around some, although it was still considered a light workout. Team owner Jerry Jones said Romo threw the ball but still didn’t give a timetable if, or when his starting quarterback would return to action.

Jones said also said Romo will likely get an X-ray on his left shoulder in the near future, but the team wouldn’t use those results to make a decision on his return.

“There may be some (test) just to see if there’s some kind of technical alignment,” Jones said. “But we didn’t think that an X-ray or those types of things will help us make this decision. It’s going to be how he’s feeling. He threw for the first time here (today).”

The tickets are already sold. He doesnt need "the return of Tony Romo" to boost them.

We need to see what he can do? Are you kidding me? We already know what Romo can do in this offense. Run for his life behind our terrible line. The last thing we need is for our franchise QB to take another needless shot because of another blown blocking assignment. Romo needs to sit until next spring.

:hammer:

He should be throwing and keeping himself in shape even if he can't play. It's not like he goes and sits on the couch all off season.

These guys are athletes and need to keep the machine in tip top shape, regardless of if he's playing in 3 weeks or next season.

Bringing in a QB who has rust and is out of game shape in the stretch we have coming up is nuts. Start over in TC with a new RT and go from there.

Besides I've been luckly enough to break my left collar bone 2 times, everytime you move your shoulders quickly, it shoots out a little pain for 8-10 weeks. It remains weaker for 3 months. You'll just end up screwing Romo's mechanics.

I agree. This is no reason to bring Romo back this season. Let him get healthy and be ready for next season. Kitna is doing fine and there is no logical reason to rush Romo. Wouldn't be worth the risk.

As long as Kitna is playing well and the team is winning, Romo should be held out till next year. Why risk further injury?

He plays. And it could be as soon as Indy. Romo ain't waiting for nothing.

Oh man if we get past New Orleans SOME HOW and Romo comes back then that would be a huuuuuuge swing.
