Romo's been throwing??

We need to see what he can do? Are you kidding me? We already know what Romo can do in this offense. Run for his life behind our terrible line. The last thing we need is for our franchise QB to take another needless shot because of another blown blocking assignment. Romo needs to sit until next spring.

What is the point of having Kitna in there if Romo can play?...This is football if you can play you play you dont sit out because your scared of injury. I bet Garrett would laugh at Romo if He requested something like that.

Do we really need to go over this again? The points of bringing him back are, he's the franchise QB, Jerry needs to put butts in the seats, the team needs to get back to regularity before the offseason and the team may somehow be in the playoff hunt still by then.

Way I see it Romo is the starting QB and when he is ready to go he will get back into the lineup. That is what football players do. If Dallas had no intent to for Romo to return they would have placed him IR which would have ended his season they have not done that.

If we want to improve our draft position put romo back in there! If we are trying to make the playoffs leave the QB that's managing the games for us right now in there! Kit gives us the best chance of winning right now. He got a few games to work with the 1st string and hopefully continues to build a repore with these receivers. But then again I'm not a romo fan. I don't think he's got IT. He has never been a champion on any level! And never will be.

As long as Kitna is playing well and the team is winning, Romo should be held out till next year. Why risk further injury?

I was for bringing Romo back this year but that has changed.

Kitna may be developing into the hot hand.

I am a cowboy fan first and foremost so if It comes down to
Hot Kitna or Romo ... Then I make my run with Kitna.

I hope Garrett can make that decision if he has to. Even if it means defying Jerry.

I expect this team to do whatever it takes to win so long as we are not mathematically eliminated. That means playing Romo asap. Once we are officially eliminated, i have no problem with Romo being sat for the rest of the season.

That may be the case where Romo is the backup once he returns given the time he will have missed and how well Kitna is playing. That will be a choice Garrett will have to make and I think allot of that will be based on how sharpe Romo looks once he is back on the practice field.

If that happens, and it won't, I hope Tony demands a trade. You play your franchise QB who is lightyears better or you trade him.

Put your personal agenda aside. Romo is better than Kitna and gives us the best chance to win when healthy.

I don't agree on rushing Romo back. Garrett needs to evaluate him in practice and if he can make all the throws and reads then you start Romo. Even Kitna knows his role is a stop gap.

The tickets are already sold. He doesnt need "the return of Tony Romo" to boost them.

Yes, the only reason for Romo returning for the Philly game is because it is the Sunday Night game, cause if there is another compelling game on the schedule, NBC might flex our game and move another game into that slot.

But with Romo coming back it might keep us playing that night. That would be a big ratings boost for them.

I say if he is healthy, let him play.

Kit has NEVER had a team like this! I hope Garrett can make the decision based on how romo looks in practice not based on he's the ordained starter. I want what's best for the Cowboys! At least Kit has done something in his career! He has been part of a championship team!

You can't be serious with this. Kitna has done his job as the BACKUP QB. When Romo is healthy, it is time for Kitna to sit his *** down plain and simple.

Kit is not the long term answer. He's a bandaid for now! I am not crazy enough to think Kit will lead this team to all the way. But I feel romo isn't the answer either. I would like to have a young stud QB as a tudor under romo. So he would know how NOT to QB! romo is a good QB but not great! He can be good in a controlled system. Less of romo more for Cowboys.

Dude, that is uncalled for! Because my opinion differs from yours? That is what is wrong with sports in Dallas! The fans fighting because of their opinions varying! Chill out! I hope romo proves me wrong! But I doubt it! Good luck in life!

Are you comparing romo with Peyton? :lmao2: Manning competed at the highest level of DI college football! Manning won state championships in high school! Who said these same things about Manning? Manning is and was a winner at a every level he's competed at! Manning led his high school team in three years to a 34-5 record! romo won what, maybe a D II playoff game? Never won a state championship! Against inferior competion! If he had IT he would have dominated DII football! Whatever I'm sure you'll keep defending romo's honor!

Ok...well you proved your argument. Romo sucks. Inferior to just about every QB to play the game. Less Romo is better for the team. You win. You are the man.

Shut down the boards please mods. Hookem officially won. Romo sucks and hasnt done anything of any worth during his NFL tenure.

LMAO @ you talking about a high School Championship!!! :lmao2:

Here is one example of the criticism Peyton used to get. If you had any knowledge about the NFL and not HS football you might get some respect.
