Man going back watching his career highlights, it's almost criminal that he wasn't surrounded by some better teams earlier in his career. He had a couple of them but not nearly as many as he should have had.

Had to LOL when the announcer made the bold announcement that Sam Hurd was going to be a future NFL star for many years to come!

Wow unbelievable playcall. I love how they use TO on that play. One thing I really miss was those plays that got TO open several times even though he was doubled.

Thats the problem I had with Garrett. Our offense was clicking and he came in and made it way too simple and vanilla. Thus I hated his playcalling for so many years.

Linehan should go back to the films when Romo and TO was still here and pull out plays like those. Start utilizing Romo's mobility and he's ability to move out of the pocket.

What stands out the most is the comment "He'll be a star someday" but not in reference to Romo but Sam Hurd lol. I did like Sam Hurd's potential here early in his career though. That was a solid catch.

That was a very odd play they decided to run for that touchdown. I've never seen TO line up in that formation or any receiver for that matter lol.

It seemed we did a lot more play action those years than we do now. And our O-line is now better as is our running game.

Can anyone here name a WR that ever played that would throw a QBs first NFL TD pass into the stands? Or maybe if he did by accident, at least try to retrieve it?
If I had to name just one, it would be Terrell Owens.

That man could flat out play though....even if it was always about him.

Haha his first NL complete completion was to Jailbird Hurd. Didn't remember that

Parcells play calling or restrictions on the PC hurt the team.

I guess I am not following you here. Parcells was not around in 07. That is the main year I am talking about. Our offense seemed much more wide open then than now in regards to the passing game. We took many more shots down the field and did more play action.

2. I noticed how nobody celebrated with T.O. on the TD back then. I love how our entire offensive line and the offense run into the endzone to celebrate with teammates after scoring this past season
Garrett has instilled a solid team culture for the franchise, where everyone celebrates unselfish individual accomplishments.

I miss that Romo to Owens connection

Wasted talent.
Hope we get Romo one before that is a twofold comment.

Nobody deserves a Super Bowl more.

I agree. Gotta be smart though.

Oh lord, here we go.
He should have had... Oh, wait he had a couple....
