Sam Wyche was reporting from the stadium that Romo will wear a wrap on his hand and there is a concern that he can't take snaps from under center. He said the Giants are anticipating a lot of running plays from the shotgun.

No big deal. I think the shotgun is a way to neutralize JPP anyway. Romo's back will never be turned to him if he gets that good first step.

Run plays from the Shotgun..............so this is different how?

I like the matchup of the Dallas receivers against the Giant secondary anyway. From the shotgun, Felix Jones and create in his style, and I think blitzes to attempt to neutralize the run, will open the tight ends up a great deal.

Myself, I think the media are over analyzing...and watching the protection of the team on kicks, and call ups as indicators for soft hand on Romo.

Jason Garrett has given another round of pep talks...and to this fan, I feel the hand issues for Romo are in fact a non-issue.

If it's too sore to take snaps from center will it be so sore that it affects his accuracy? That's the question I'm wondering.

Welp, there's always next season. Might as well forfeit if Romo isn't at 100%. The rest of the team is pretty much garbage.

What?? He just reported the opposite a few minutes ago. Are you sure you heard right?

My confidence, what little there was, just took a hit.

If he can't take a snap, he's obviously feeling it and I don't care what type of a fight the guy has, if he can't play up to potential then he can't play up to potential.

Props for getting out there yet again with an injury but I just can't be all that happy with the prospect of his hand being that bad.

I hope this report is an error because if Tony can't take a snap, he probably can't grip the ball tight enough for passing.

Any hits on him are likely to cause fumbles as well.

He needs to be full go with that hand or he's not going to do us much good.

Can someone get the correct report? I'd rather not watch all the pre-game baloney if I don't have to.

:)

Absolutely sure.

I don't think Cajun heard right (with all due respect). Wyche reported that Romo was fine taking snaps under center. Didn't say that he would wear a wrap on his hand, and that Garrett gave a great motivational speech.

He said Romo wouldn't be limited in any way.

Cajun's confused on this one.

I was behind on NFLN because I paused a while back.

He just said that Romo DID takes snaps and "they are not concerned he will be restricted in any means".

Wyche said specifically that the Giants were also preparing for a lot more running plays out of the shotgun because of it. That is almst a direct quote from what Wyche said.

Then he just updated the report within the last few moments. Earlier this morning he said what I posted.

Are you sure you're not confusing Wyche with someone else?

Wyche said nothing about the Giants in his NFLN report that I saw just a second ago.

Perhaps there was more than one report?? Wyche acted like he had breaking news about 15 minutes ago when he reported that everything was right with Romo's hand.

I listened to it again, and got no signal that anything is wrong.
