Yeah. I think that's what he was getting at. Once you're 60 yards down the field from your QB and your QB is running for his life, it's probably best to come back towards him a bit. :D

If he hadn't had to use up time running for his life he could have thrown it on time. Since he knew he wouldn't be able to lay it out there after having to scrammble he decided to throw a jump ball. And the WR did a piss poor job of fighting for the ball.
