I didn't hear or see it. What exactlly happened and was it another case of the WR not running the right route or was it all on Romo?

It was all Romo. He underthrew TO by about 5-6 yards on a deep route.

Romo Underthrew it. Owens Was wide open if he threw it right.

Walk off touch down for 95 yards had it been on the money. TO basically had his man totally whipped.

Doesn't matter, it was a bad play call either way-you don't play action in your own end zone, period. Sean Payton tried doing this in the NFC Title game last year, and even Drew Brees was getting happy feet.

I doubt if you'll see much of this anyways in the reg season-it looks like Jason Garrett was "experimenting" with a few of his play calls(i.e. throwing to Crayton on Romo's opposite side on 3rd and short).

Don't sweat it.

Thanks guys. I'll see the game tomorrow but from the sounds of it we stunk it up pretty badly.

Oh well. It's pre season and I think we will be just fine. I never put alot of stock in Pre season games anyway. Of course it's nice to win them but the coaches will have something to chew on them about this week.

I'll bet we see the first team more next week than we normally would though.

He slung the ball with very little trajectory...the ball had no chance of being completed.. A bad night for Romo. I'll give him a C-.

Did Romo have any WRs drop passes on him or was his 7 incompletions bad throws?

Well I guess if you want to see it that way, I guess its ones choice. But I just have been having bad feeling about this team ever since Wade was hired.

But so far, this is the only game that kind of showed me if I have any validity to my feeling at all. So for me, or guys like me, we might view it as things to come.

On other side, if you are optimistic about the season, I guess this can be viewed as just another Pre-season game. But all I can say is, if your team plays like this in a dress rehersal game, you cannot sugarcoat it and think this as just a pre-season game.

Well I hope I am wrong though.

Romo doesn't have the arm that he thinks he does. All night he was just throwing with his arm instead of using his entire body. It works on short crossing routes and dump offs.

His mechanics have actually gotten worse in the offseason. He is trying to be Dan Marino on every play. He is actually closer to Steve Pelleur.

Romo tried to go deep by just using just his arm and basically threw a fly ball that T.O. should have come back and made the fair catch signal under.

Couple of drops, couple of bad throws. Some inaccurate throws were caught. All in all, he didn't look that sharp tonight...not horrible either...just not himself.

Lot of truth to that, however, the importance of the third preseason game and it's connection to what happens in the third or fourth week and beyond is pretty irrelevant. Add to that the fact that our #2 WR (Glenn) was out, our starting CB (Newman) was out and we had a rookie starting at OLB, I'm not as upset about it as I normally would. I just hope our OLine looked good.

When romo played last year I told everyone that he was inexperienced, slow and had a relatively weak nfl arm.

Everyone told me I was crazy and that the offseason would cure any of those problems.

Tonight I saw a immobile QB with a weak arm and bad mechanics make some bad throws and bad decisions.

The offseason didn't work. Romo was actually the 3rd or 4th best looking QB that played in the game tonight.

Is it to late to do the draft over?
