Romo's last drive

All true, and I'm not arguing your point, but I do want to point out that Big Ben is usually bigger than the guys who tackle him, and there's a rule that Brady has to be swaddled and laid down gently to nap, or it's a 50 yard penalty! :D
Not all true anyway
Romo was sacked every 17 attempts and Brady every 19 attempts.
But yeah, they would let guys body slam Romo and not throw a flag:laugh:
Too much hot air on Tommy and even the dude in the secondary is tossing a flag

Absolutely being bigger and stronger helps a QB survive it, although Aikman was a pretty stout lad himself, but the point is that Romo’s health problems aren’t due to him not being protected as well as other QBs, it’s just that his body didn’t hold up as well as some others.
Rushing him back several times towards the end was part of the reason as well

He did seem to get tackled in some awkward positions, which certainly didn't help his durability. Either way, I wish we'd been able to see a healthy Romo behind a great O-line.

Is this the touchdown drive against the eagles accounting department after they clinched and sat everyone. Yay

I would agree that Romo, in his prime, was a better QB than Dak, however, even aside from the fact that a healthy Romo at age 38 cannot be assumed, your first sentence is far from a certainty. The Rams rushed for 273 yards against the Cowboys, which was not a QB problem.

As for it being stupid to sit him for Dak, while I understand and appreciate that many feel Romo should have been given the job back, let's not act as if there was no foundation for the decision to stick with Dak. The Cowboys had the best record in the NFL that season, and Romo had missed the majority of 2 seasons after being injured 3 of the last 5 times he played.
If the Cowboys offense
Bwahahahahahaha...wow, good stuff.
You don't like Romo. We get it. Sorry for talking about past players during the off-season. While we're at it, we should also never mention players like Aikman, Irvin, or Smith either.

You don’t mention players like Aikman or Smith or Witten. Off season? lol. You guys are stroking Romo 365 days a year.

We're just reminiscing about a great player who kept this team relevant year after year despite being surrounded by questionable talent most of the time.

Don't make it weird and sexual bro. Keep that stuff in your own head.

Lol, that’s the entire point. Who started the thread? Who is still reminiscing anout a guy that has NOTHING
to do with this team anymore?

BTW, it’s pretty sad that you reference Romo as a guy that kept us relevant. Haha...a couple playoff wins over 2 decades is considered relevant? Lol, that shows how low the standards have fallen.

Why are you posting in it?
Why did you even open it?

Seems to me you're using it to stroke yourself.

:omg:

I’m posting in it because I find it simultaneously hilarious and pathetic that so many people can’t let go of the past. It’s mind boggling that so many people are obsessed with a guy that has NOTHING to do with this team anymore. I really want to understand what the fascination is.

what's hilarious is these "fans" who has to complain about Romo threads 24/7.

Go find some stats about Dak, "every time I rub my Dak doll we win".

They're in love with Romo's dimples.

You know what’s annoying? Starting another thread about a guy who has NOTHING to do with this team. Stop living in the past dude, Romo is gone, get over it.
I remember this one time when Don Meredith was throwing a pass to Bob Hayes....

We're fans of a team and you can't understand why were talking about past players in the off-season. Would you prefer another Dak thread? Or maybe we can talk about the great Blake Jarwin. If the title of the thread doesn't interest you, don't click it.
