Your so full of it, you have no clue as to what your talking about. To you this is all about black QB and nothing more talk about a sorry excuse for a fan. Your posting makes me sick every time you start up with this crud.

Black qb is your word, not mine. I include John Elway and Steve Young as members of the 'non limited athelete', it's just that don't play anymore.

what has mcnabb won? young to this point? (he may, but you're just wizzin in the wind at this point cause you're pissed your carter blow up doll is almost beyond repair) vick? what has any "complete athelete" won overall?

you're mad carter didn't pan out. that's carters fault, now quit blaming every white qb for being white while you whine about your own boys failure.

gets old.

I admire and respect Brady,Farve of old,Trent Green,Drew Brees too. Your the one making a racial issue of it. I was a big Aikman,Young,Elway,Fouts fan too. Where do you get this stuff?

You were big on Leftwich and he came in as a limited athlete. One with an injury history.

Quincy did not carry the 2003 team and the defense was not a sham. It was a very good defense. Galloway and Glenn were two pretty good targets for Quincy as well as Antonio Bryant.

Galloway, Glenn, Bryant and Carter. What do 3 of them have in common. If your guess is they are still in the NFL then you are correct!!!! :laugh2:
I would have also accepted 3 of them are WR. :laugh2:

For the record, I thought we cut QC because he had a substance abuse issue, and the Boys knew that he would be suspended at some point. There is no way that you go into the season woried that any Monday your starting QB could be suspended 4 games or even a year. If he was the answer...Didn't teh Jets cut him as well?

Excellent snippet my friend. The Prophet is not convinced little Tony is the 2nd coming. LOL. Defenses are quickly learning that if you can contain him in the pocket, he's quite average. Don't get me wrong, The Prophet likes the kid...just callin' em like I see em.

Smarta5150 thinks talking in the 3rd person is ridiculous.

The Smarta5150 is going to go back and do what he has been doing... ignoring this thread since Smarta5150 last posted on it.

I agree. I have said Carter cut himself because of his problem however I also saw Carter as a mental weakling and not a leader of this team. The guys constantly talked about I'm the leader and yet most QB's around the league do not need to go around saying it they just do it. At times it sounded like Carter was trying to convince himself. As for his skills he was to erratic with his throws for my taste and while he had good mobility he was poor at throwing the ball on the move and would end up throwing picks.

I could have sworn you were talking about McNabb. :laugh1:

Actually I think McNabb is one of the better QB's in the league. Not the best by any means but I have been impressed of how much he has been able to do in Philly over the years with little help from his offensive teammates. McNabb showed he was able to throw from the pocket as well as the ability to use his mobility and make plays. I know that is not a popular thing to say around here but I do feel that way.

Yea, he is a good QB, but everything in that paragraph still sounds like him over the years.

I just think he is a phony, and a momma's boy.

Wouldn't want him as my QB.

I partly agree with that. God knows we have had a lot worse than McNabb over the past 10 years.

Actually, McNabb is one of the best QBs at not throwing INTs. Maybe he throws them at the most inopportune times, but I think any interception is a bad one. O'Donnell certainily picked the wrong time to throw interceptions.

Lowest Percentage, Passes Had Intercepted, Career (1,500 attempts)
2.11% Neil O'Donnell, Pittsburgh, 1991-95; N.Y. Jets, 1996-97; Cincinnati, 1998; Tennessee, 1999-2003 (3,229 attempts-68 INTS)
2.21% Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia, 1999-2006 (3,259-72)
2.31% Mark Brunell, Green Bay, 1994; Jacksonville, 1995-2003; Washington, 2004-06 (4,595-106)

McNabb has thrown 11 interceptions in 419 attempts in the playoffs which is 2.63% of the time. He isn't a great QB, but he is pretty good.

I call 'em as I see 'em. I'll agree with anyone who makes a valid point, but remember I was one of the few who predicted that Bledsoe would not take us to the playoffs, when others said that 'he was the best qb we've had since Aikman'. What a joke? Now the 'best qb we've had since Aikman is riding the pine behind an undrafted free agent.
I think I'm going to call you Pa from now on.
