Did anyone else notice that when all eligible receivers were covered well, that Romo took it upon his shoulders to pick up some yards?

I think I like that more than INTs.

The best part of his performance was that he didn't just protect the ball at the expense of making plays. He still threw the ball downfield, threw on the run and threw deep.

EXACTLY. For some reason, he felt like either he needed to sit down and take the sack or sling it and throw the INT.

Romo- You can avoid tacklers and scramble and throw on the run. That's all good. Just don't stand in the pocket and throw the ball where it shouldn't be thrown.

I like him running if the opportunity presents itself. I also like the way he held the ball with two hands. Someone swiped at it, but unlike last year, Romo had a secure grip on the ball.

I'll say this. I was 100% confident at half. As long as Romo is protecting the ball, we can beat anyone. It was just a matter of time. If Romo can avoid mistakes... we can be very very good. Be agressive.. play smart.. protect the ball..

He looked alright tonight.

No INTs that's what I like to see.

Oddly, I was too. And I just figured it out. Because I knew that Romo was protecting HIS rock.

Romo has good enough mobility to be able to do that, I don't know why he doesn't move more.

I did notice that Romo held on to that ball with TWO hands when he moved up in the pocket...MAN i love seeing that. He still needs work, but today was an improvement over last week

He may not have gotten the gawdy TD stats, but he played well. He threw some very nice passes. Very few misfires. 0 turnovers for the 2nd time in 3 games. He's not fumbling this year. Ran a bit today, which we were all clamoring for. Almost had 2 TDs (Choice's just missed and RW dropped that pass in the endzone). Romo bought himself time quite a few times and often made something of nothing.
I wasn't worried about him, it was the pass defense - which I'm glad showed some improvement.
Feels good to win.

That pass to Roy when the Panthers player got a hand on it but Roy caught it anyway, was a great throw. Romo zipped it right in there.

Very solid performance, although I cringed when he threw across the field to Choice... Those plays need to be elimated because they can lead to turnovers!

There was nobody anywhere near Choice. Thought it was a good play.

It was a good play. It was a heads up play made by a guy with playmaking ability. Choice was wide open, and Tony made it clear with his hand pointing that the ball was coming before throwing it. Great vision. Screw Steve Young's take on this play.

Yes. I love that much more than the INT...

I'll even take the 9 yard loss on the sack that could have been a throwaway had he just stepped two steps to his right (to get out of the tackle box) and thrown it out of bounds... before I accept a careless INT.

I think that it is kind of funny that I posted the other day that Tony should run the ball when it presents itself, instead of trying to force a throw and get it intercepted. I know most of you guys have said it before about the players reading these posts and if that is the case I am glad that they listen. Tony is much more dangerous when he makes the decision to tuck the ball and run and get positive yardage and not turn the ball over. I say Good Job Tony and keep playing the game the way you played it your first year and this team is going to be very successful. Now lets go smack the Broncos and shut up their stupid trash talking fans. Go Cowboys!

It was a great play! I'll admit my heart skipped a beat when he threw it. But after further review it was obvious how safe the pass actually was. Nobody other than Choice had a shot at it.

The excellent throw just over a Panthers outstretched hands to Roy along the right sideline was much more dangerous.

You cannot take those types of plays away from him ..... those are what makes him who he is.
