Romo's Pride

Not sure why people don't get this .. it's not just draft picks causing other teams to shy away. If they trade for Romo, they are getting the tail end of his current contract. If they sign him as a free agent, they can offer him a contract that is much more friendly to their own salary cap, especially this season, plus they can add in incentives in lieu of base salary that protects them in case he gets injured.

Seems pretty straight forward, but just not sinking in.
