Not sure why people don't get this .. it's not just draft picks causing other teams to shy away. If they trade for Romo, they are getting the tail end of his current contract. If they sign him as a free agent, they can offer him a contract that is much more friendly to their own salary cap, especially this season, plus they can add in incentives in lieu of base salary that protects them in case he gets injured.

There could be a bidding war going on behind the scenes, we wouldn't know.

I just think itd be in our advantage to let people know if there were viable offers. Agents would never keep that hidden and Jerry would want it out there too.

We don't know if anything has been offered.

Maybe Houston is offering a fourth but we are holding out for a second or third. If that is the case, I believe we will regret it.
