I have no problem with this post, AT ALL.

However, the kids that think that the Cowboys team that has been stuck in neutral for so long is because of Romo, that is where I don't agree.

You believe that Romo thinks he's the worst QB in the NFL?

You believe that every Cowboy loss is because of Romo?

You believe that when Romo takes a lead and the defense lets the other team march down and score the win, it's because or Romo?

These are the same guys that complained about him wearing his cap backwards! How stupid is that!

The injuries in the defense that cannot stop a team. Is that because of Romo?

Like Aikman would say, "Get real..."!

Or, TD3, you can put me on ignore because I don't blame everything on Romo for why the Cowboys are an average team right now.

1. I don't put anyone on ignore. I think that is a chicken shate way to operate. If I am not strong enough emotionally to read your post and either entertain the idea or ignore it, then I need to do something else with my time.

I have absolutely no respect for anyone that uses the ignore feature. If I think you are an idiot, I can choose not to read your posts. However, even at that I think that is sort of CS as well.

I read most of the posts in threads that I open. I look for your posts because i enjoy them. I do not always agree and sometimes you say things I think are rude.

But then rude is part of your charm.

2. I believe there is a great deal of hyperbole on this site. The questions you outlined are some of the hyperbole.

I do not blame Romo for everything. Surely the timing pass to Dez in the Bears game was Dez' fault for not being where he was supposed to. But there were some picks in that game that were clearly on Romo.

It is a team, as you said. But as someone else pointed out, you can almost set your watch on a couple of games where Romo has a brain fart and throws the game away.

It is not one players that makes this team 8-8. Nor one coach.

But you can bet your grandma's corset that there is one GM that is responsible for the ineptitude of the franchise because of mismanagement.

The buck stops with him.

As I have stated, Tony Romo knows that he has issue with choking. He's admitted and noted that he has had some issues in the past, that was BEOFRE Washington.

I am not defending that statement of biggest choke artist. But let me ask you this.

Do you think the night of the washington game, when he sat alone after, that some doubt creeped into his mind. Even for the briefest moment.
That at some point he thought about all the seasons he's been the starter and how none of them have ended up the eway he wanted.

And do you believe that human nature takes over and he blamed himself. Even the least little bit for his own woes?

I think it is naive to think he believes he is the biggest choke artist in the game.

But i also think he is human and at some point he did what we all do when we have failed and that is to self exam.

And like all of us he probably took a bite out of that blame sammich at that point.

Maybe more than he would ever utter in public.

I cannot imagine as upbeat as he is that his frustration level isn't somewhere around the stratosphere for a few days after that loss.

Here is the flaw in your theory, old buddy.

When the team wins, it is Romo all day long that won the game.

When they lose, it is the defense, a dropped pass, the kicker, the coach. Anything but Romo.

Now I do not think everything Romo does is his fault. I think some of the plays we've seen where he has a turnover were the direct result of his teammates not understanding the audible and being in the wrong spot. Or the line not protecting.

I have stated this over and over.

But just think back to the Jets opener last year. Clearly Romo fumbled within the shadow of the goal line, and then threw a pick right to Revis to give the Jets a shot at winning. Which they did.

And coming to this place there was a large group of people that actually stated the blocked punt lost the game, even when the pick to Revis came after.

It is this that makes me question the objectivity of some of the fans here about this player.

I love having Romo on this team. And if they can assemble a team, around him that allows him to flourish, then I think the results will be much closer to what we want than what we are getting now.

But he is not absolved of every mistake by calling out the defense or other offensive players.

And like the idea that some are really negative and it is getting old, the notion that St. Romo is above the fray when it comes to culpability is also growing long white whiskers with some of us.

This knife of getting old cuts both ways, and has for Romo since he relieved Bledsoe.

There are times where Tony has carried this team and gets all the accolades. But he does make boneheaded mistakes which people on this forum just fault everyone else but Tony. Its actually kind of ironic being that this forum harps on Terrell Owens never taking accountability, but this forum never holds Romo accountable.

Another thing about people on here is they seriously need to watch some other teams games more often. Our o-line is bad, but my goodness it is FAR from the worst in the league. Cardinals, oline is ATROCIOUS. Bears oline is ATROCIOUS. Pitts oline has ALWAYS BEEN trash. Eagles oline literally had ONE STARTER in that entire lineup, rest were backups. Greenbay's line isn;t all that great either. The o-line is excuse is so damn old on here.

For the most part I agree. I've posted 14000+ times and used the ignore button twice.
Sometimes the noise and chatter gets so old that I no longer have use for it and it disrupts the flow of a thread.
