Only if he learns to slide or run out of bounds. We really don't want him get hit more than necessary.

Agreed.

The times I am referring to "it was there" (he could have slid and been safe)... I am sure you can remember what I am talking too.... being a FANADDICT and all :D

From OTA footage, he looks like he is hitting receivers in stride and (dare I say it) his release looks even faster. Is it possible that Romo is going to be even better than last year. Obviously, there is always room to improve. But I'm talking about things that would have been impossible for Romo to do last year.

What do you think is going on?

I thought this would be a thread about how Romo picks up women . . . . :(

Seems there are a lot of folks pining for Drew Bledsoe and others wishing Quincy Carter were still the QB.

Count your blessings.

I would like to add... He needs to sometimes run with the ball (when its there).... it was there a good amount of times last year and he held his ground too long.

Those runs are gamechanging. I think opposing teams stopped anticipating his running abililty (well because he stopped) - resulting in shutting TO and the offense at times.

I think he ran about as much this year as he did the year before and had more success doing it.

Romo is athlethic, and there were definitely times I was screaming "RUN IT! RUN IT!" but I'm not sure he's confident scrambling. He prefers to keep his eyes down field and look for an opening.

Since the Cowboys will run more this year and assuming Romo stays healthy, I predict 28 TDS and 14 ints

If Romo performs like he did in 2007 Dallas will be fine, I think the team needs to improve on special teams and defense to reach the Superbowl...

You cant wait forever for a play to develop.... he should have run a few times...

I aint bagging on him... its just I want to him to take it when its there
