I fall into the Romo fan club category... I am actually a Romosapien :D

He is NOT a bus driver. He IS a playmaker. But he thinks thats all he is. He doesnt control/manage the game enough to win it in the end of defense. He tries to win it on offense. That wont work every time. You gotta pick your battles when it comes down to taking chances or living to fight another series.

You cant say that Eli is any better. He will lose the game for you too. His coaching staff reels him in and limits the games/chances he will lose a game for you.

Tony is good... he could be REALLY good... but great... I dont see it. Not when you have ALL those weapons and cant hit them consistently.

TO is a better receiver than Romo is a QB.
Romo cant get the ball to TO down the field like a Brady or an Aikman and dare I say a McNabb.

Not that Romo is on the level of a Michael Jordan... but I am using the analogy anyways...

Jordan learned early on that you have to get others involved and take some of the weight off your shoulders... THEN you can make your plays.

Best post in the thread man. You're going to piss a lot of people off with that little truth though. :D

Wasn't the reason Big Bill benched Drew Bledsoe because he did not protect the football................

True, but Bledsoe threw pick after pick in the redzone, usually from inside the 10 yard line. Oftentimes for 6 points the other way.

Nobody here realizes that he's playing with a bad back and a finger that was broken just a few weeks ago??

You guys are incredible. What about last year when he was getting the ball downfield all the time and if I'm not mistaken, we led the league in throws/catches over 20 yards??

But yeah, it's just that little truth from a "fan."

Players play with injuries all the time... I believe TO played with a torn tendon in his right ring finger all season two seasons ago and endured many many occasions with ridicule from less than desirable "fans". No?

I have no problem with the fact Tony has a bad hand and a hurt back. For those reasons you reign your game in. You play to your abilities. If you're not as accurate as usual then don't throw into tight places or high risk low percentage throws. Don't hit a driver into a lot of wind on a tight fairway in the US Open. Draw up.

and we won..........ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!
Or we were the best regular season team in Cowboys history....
Or Our QB has won more big games that didn't matter than yours......
Or... I think you get my point.

Who cares about last year? The Giants were the champs. No one will ever remember that we lead the league in anything. ROMO IS SURROUNDED WITH TALENT AND ALWAYS SEEMS TO COME UP EMPTY HANDED.
