Mike Glennon of the Bucs. He's stuck behind Jamies. 2016 is the last year of his rookie contract. Trade a 3rd or a 4th for him give him a decent extension. This guy could be really good. He had 19 tds and 9 ints as a rookie on a garbage Bucs team. This guy is better than anyone we could draft this year. I have no doubt that this guy with our oline makes us a playoff team. I truly hope our front office tries to make a run at this guy.

No way this is a playoff team with that guy. The offense is terrible.

No thanks. Only QB I want to see come in is a high draft pick. He can be groomed under Romo, Wilson can't change any vet QB traits or ways. So need a fresh young talent that can learn. Matter of fact, why is Wilson still here?

And absolutely no trading for a QB, we lost a 5th in 2017 for Cassell already, though we get a 6th I think. Or was that for Butler in 2016.

Anyway, not opposed to bringing him in for competing, but not for a draft pick, especially if he is in the last year on his contract. Let them release him, but hopefully we draft a QB instead.

He couldn't be any worse than Cassel, but I don't want to give up a high pick for him. Rather just draft somebody and tell him to ignore everybody but Romo. I want him learning from Romo and not listening to a dam word from Wilson, Linehan, or Garrett.

Romo is the real OC of this team anyways, the way he changes the crap plays Linehan and Garrett send in to him.

We must pull out all the stops, trade for a big arm, draft a blue chip qb, and most of all FIRE WILSON. Hopefully you end up with a good competition for starter, and maybe a franchise guy and another to trade for s high pick.

.....drafting Winston assured the Bucs they needed a QB. RG3 wouldn't be bad...but posters wouldn't dare give him a chance.

What's it going to be then, eh?

It is all making sense now.

The Ginger revolution. A soulless collection of quarterbacks whose primary goal is to march us into redheaded oblivion.

It began with Rudy Carpenter.

Then Garrett was thwarted in his attempt to get Dalton.

He supposedly was intrigued by Greg McElroy.

Then he did finally succeed.

No thanks. Only QB I want to see come in is a high draft pick.

Everytime I see this logic, it drives me nuts. The team doesn't have to spend a high draft pick on a QB just for the sake of doing it. The Titans (Locker), Jags(Gabbert) and Vikings (Ponder) did this 5 years ago only to turn around and spend another first round pick on a QB a few years later.

If we choose a Jake Locker over a JJ Watt or a Julio Jones just for the sake of drafting a QB early, this team will be doomed.

Actually besides Cam Newton, out of the top teams in the league right now...which one of them has a high draft pick QB that they drafted? Cards? No. Bengals? Patriots? Packers? Vikings? Seahawks? Broncos? Bengals? Jets? Chiefs? Commanders? None of these teams spent a top 10 pick on their QB . Only the Colts and that QB isn't even playing and when he has been playing, he has been awful this season.

I am all for a QB if the player fits the draft slot but I hope this team is smart enough to do what the Raiders did a year ago. Take a player such as Khalil Mack in the first and then turn around and get Carr in the second...or what the Bengals did a few years back when they took AJ Green in the first and Dalton in the second.

I want Romo's eventual heir to be someone we drafted.

All I want from Romo's heir is someone who wins us some games and gets us to the playoffs.

I don't care if we go the Carson Palmer route, the Tom Brady route, the Russell Wilson route, the Tony Romo route or the Cam Newton route as far as the acquisition goes...just win us some games so our team can return to the glory we deserve.

The Cardinals drafted QB's for years...the most success they ever had was from free agents (Kurt Warner, Carson Palmer)...I would prefer to have a young guy ready to be a premier QB but if we have to go that route, so be it.

A high draft pick also can be a 2nd round pick. I prefer...that is my preference a 1st or 2nd round pick.....however, in other posts I made, in other threads. If a Joey Bosa type is there, you take him.
But if a QB is there, how can you not pass up on a decent QB prospect. Given what has been trotted out of the field as backups recently, like the past 10 years, other than Kitna.

I am aware what those teams have done, as I said many times, either 1st or 2nd round. He can be a decent backup getting experience, and learn behind one of the best in Romo.

The draft hindsight card is always 20-20, and people use it too much for the what if scenarios.....if I would had bought Microsoft stock back when it started....yada, yada, yada.....
