Ron Rivera new HC candidate?

Rather have a proven NFL head coach (Rivera) than a college coach who's used to having a talent advantage in 99 percent of the games his team plays. That won't be the case in the NFL. There is big difference coaching in the NFL and coaching in college.

Im all for it, he will fix the defense.

But jerry already interviewed him once and didnt hire him so he won't this time either.

If you think Rivera is a failed retread then your expectations are out of wack. But that's par for the course for Cowboys fans.

With a loss to Commanders, this will likely be end of Ron Rivera's tenure at Carolina. Rivera is a hard nose defensive coach that has fielded a top 10 defense for most of his tenure, and took the Panthers team to a SB. I believe pairing him with Kellen Moore will make Dallas a compete team. Rivera will a light a fire on the defensive side and take this defense to elite level. What do y’all think about Rivers as a HC candidate?
Why do you automatically assume that just because a head coach becomes available he would even want to come to Dallas. I think a lot of these coaches behind closed doors are questioning if they would even want to work for this dictator Jones. They dont get to pick their coaching staff and they arent in charge of personel player decisions. The media will be a constant grind and the team is loaded with avg players who think they are better than they are. The owner GM will constantly be hanging around practices and the pressure to win NOW will be off the charts.
