Unfortunately Jerry is too.

My focus would be on winning, not sure what Jerry is focused on. Buying another yacht? Maybe he wants to fly in space like another ego maniac?

If he was really concerned with winning, we would not have had to wait 27 years and counting.
Yep, exactly.
No argument from me.

Davis has been the surprise. I think without a strong showing tomorrow night, he's basically out of a job. Jones will be put on the suspended list and that actually works out better for him because he should see real snaps with the starters come week 3.

I didn’t think he’d appear at all. I wouldn’t risk him getting injured and being stuck paying for a player unlikely to make the team.
He pretty much doesn't cost much at all.

Ronald Jones is washed.

No clue why fans are excited to see him play.
Well, for one thing he will keep the other backs off the field in a game that means nothing.

IIRC, he gets moved to the suspended list without impacting final cutdowns. Really, no reason not to hold on to him. It is free.
They need to hold onto him as insurance in the event of injuries.

Some are still excited about him because he was a second round pick just a few years ago, despite the fact he never lived up to his draft status.

It’s not only the money. If you keep him, you’re letting someone else go.

I’d just as soon let Jones walk. He hasn’t shown he’s worthy of keeping here.

He goes on the suspension list. I think that doesn't count on the 53.

He's 26 with minimum wear.. so it would be smart to see him get some snaps and if he can capitalize.

Hmm. If that’s the case, I guess I won’t mind an insurance policy for two weeks in case there’s an injury. If not you can always just cut him then. As long as nothing gets guaranteed in the meantime.

I forgot he was even on the team. I'm not convinced he makes the 53, but we'll see.
agree..... which is why he might get snaps. no snaps could be the end oh his time with Dallas.

Oh what a terrific idea to let go of our 6th round playmaker Deuce Vaughn. You are going to have a lot of gm offers. I tell ya. A football genius in the making.
He clearly doesnt kow that you cant just put someone on the practice squad.... they would have to clear waivers. There is no way Vaughn would clear waivers.

He actually claims that he doesn't like Vaughn at all. Which is very strange in my opinion. He should be rooting for Vaughn to do well. It helps the team bigtime to hit on a 6th rounder like that. To get a playmaker on a 6th round deal is huge.

He's only guaranteed $300,000 so it wouldn't be much of a hit. Always felt like he was just an insurance policy that doesn't appear needed at this point.

I can’t complain about $300,000 then.

I mean, he's been in the league 5 years.

I don't mind him as a depth player, but he's not any sort of guy you rely on.

2018 2nd round pick with only 61 games played.

Just turned 26.

Basically sat out 2022 because KC was butt hurt for some reason.

505 rushes, 2244 yds, 19 TDs.

..kinda surprised. Thought he wouldn't appear till few games into season.

Should be fun to watch.

This came from updates on DC.com

well I think it's a waste just give all the snaps to the young kids I don't even think I want him on the roster I mean I guess it's nice to have a veteran but there are other ones out there they're not gonna be suspended the first two games and that's dinged up
