The same Broaddus that laughed out loud when Mickey asked him if Leary could be the answer at guard?

Anyone that believes Leary would have been an early pick last year if not for his knee has been drinking that Jerry-aid. There is absolutely nothing special about the guy, and if he becomes a quality starter in the league at any point, I'll be positively stunned.

I haven't heard early pick. But he most certainly would have gone in the 4-6 round

They don't want him to end up in a body cast before June 1st.

I saw this one coming a mile away....and still laughed!

As for Leary. I could see him getting a legit push to start early on. If he fails, they can always go back to Bern. If Leary works out, Bern gives you a nice option off the bench at either C or OG.

I like joking around about his fragileness but the truth is I'm excited to see what/if he can bring to field this year.

Hope he flourishes in Kiffin's D.

Maybe there has been too much discounting of people from the last two drafts still in Dallas who could not play last year for one reason or another. They may have gotten well, strengthened, learned the ropes, or developed prospective skills that make them very good players this year. The front office may be right. Dallas could be better off than any of us thinks.
