Here is the rooting guide for our Draft Positioning.
Currently 14th.
We could finish from 11th to 18th, big swing in play.

If we lose, we can finish as high as 11th. or as low as 14th.
So if we lose we need.
Falcons to beat Saints
Dolphins to beat Patriots
Buccs to beat Panthers (game is on Saturday)

If we win, we can finish as high as 14 or as low as 18.
So if we win, we need.
Lions to beat Bears
Colts to beat Texans
Panthers to beat Buccs (game is on Saturday)
Ravens to beat Steelers
Vikings to beat Packers (which we want this to happen anyhow)

I know and get we want to win but a loss not only jumps us up into better draft position but will drop the Giants back at least a few spots, possibly 3 or 4 picks back

So now we are concerned about draft position with one game left in the season. You can’t make this stuff up.
Sadly, that’s all we have left, thanks to Jerry & Son’s great team construction.
Because we are out of the playoffs.
Most fans think this way, unlike some of you that want us to lose from week 1. So they can continue thumping their chest, as they rather lose and be right than to look at winning, and anything good that may happen.

I think most of us are tired of Luke warm mediocre, either build a Super Bowl contender or tank and stockpile talent so you can do the former. This “just good enough to make or barely miss the playoffs” is pointless.

Gotta be as high possible, because there ain't jack after the first round left on our picks.

Some fans on here would rather tank year after year to get top draft picks. But still once they have them, they still want to lose to accumulate more. :lmao:

I think we trade the second first round pick to a team wanting to move up for a QB to get the 5th year option to get more picks to offset what we have already traded away. Only way we keep it is if someone has really slid down the board that it ranked much higher. If we draft anything but Defense Jerry should retire asap.

I ain't rooting for crap. They played the games and lost. They end up where they end up. Sheesh, if we move up one spot, Jerry is going to pick the best player ever, and that should get us in the Super Bowl next year. smh.. and lmao.

Draft positioning should be A#1 goal right now. Beating the Giants solves nothing. Hope the Giants defense and Mr Dart got to town Sunday.

With no 2nd or 3rd, they should trade both down a few spots depending on who's available. I'd trade the Packers pick completely out of the 1st to really set up day 2.
No need top talent use free agency to fill those gaps Rather have 2 great players then 4 ok players

What are the rooting scenarios on the Green Bay 1st round pick?

I'm happy with that too, we could do with 4 or 5 picks in the first 3 rounds to throw at our terrible D.

Unless of course the Ohio safety drops to us, then I reserve the right to change my mind !

What are the rooting scenarios on the Green Bay 1st round pick?
They are locked in to the 7th seed.

The losers in the Wild Card round are seeded in the draft based on regular season record amongst one another

Currently, the Pack have the second worst record in that group with the chance fo have the worst if pittsburgh passes them.

So, this week, root for Pittsburgh and against Green Bay for a potential move of one place (21st or 22nd)
