Rooting Guide for Best Draft Position

They are locked in to the 7th seed.

The losers in the Wild Card round are seeded in the draft based on regular season record amongst one another

Currently, the Pack have the second worst record in that group with the chance fo have the worst if pittsburgh passes them.

So, this week, root for Pittsburgh and against Green Bay for a potential move of one place (21st or 22nd)
I can't root for the Steelers. As the difference in 1 slot at that point may not be that big of a difference.
I have an agenda for the Steelers to lose.

I will be watching that Ravens Steelers game with my friend. She wants me to root for the Steelers, as she is a big fan of them.
My agenda, is id the Steelers lose, they will play in Arlington next year.

And their fans travel well and increase the prices we can get for our tickets. Dream scenario would be them on Thanksgiving.

Yes, but it is FOX turn to have the game, so most likely it will be an NFC team.
Also knowing Jerry, if it is true the Cowboys will play an international game, he will give a way a home game to play in Mexico City. And that would be the game.

I want to take my friend to a Steelers game. She never been able to actually watch a game, though she worked for them at the stadium for 6 years as an usher.

Because we are out of the playoffs.
Most fans think this way, unlike some of you that want us to lose from week 1. So they can continue thumping their chest, as they rather lose and be right than to look at winning, and anything good that may happen.
Using your analogy, how’s that worked out the past 30 years? I’ll wait?

With no 2nd or 3rd, they should trade both down a few spots depending on who's available. I'd trade the Packers pick completely out of the 1st to really set up day 2.
Well there is a option three and I keep saying this because I think I'm gonna be right I don't wanna be right but this team needs draft picks and money we have one asset his name is George Pickens can you imagine getting another 1st round pick that you can turn into multiple picks?

Everyone's worried about draft picks I don't believe George Pickens is a necessary player to have to have he won't dictate wins or losses next year more than rebuilding the defense so you get a first round pick and 30 plus million freed up...

I think that's gonna happen I really believe they will franchise tag him first round tender they will legitimately listen to the offers being made because both sides will see the true value they'll see the true interest they'll evaluate it but in the end it's a win win either way I mean they keep the guy that's nice for the offense, But if they get a first round pick for him and don't have to spend the 30 plus million that is a much easier flip this off season to get the rest of the team better I'd rather use that money on a a mid level FA LT and a solid defender.

Then one of those draft picks will be a wide receiver and then you have 19 competing with the guy we drafted for WR2 I could live with that CD lamb is still elite he seems to work better without GP. I mean from what I seen and I didn't watch every single game that close they seem to be better apart like when Lamb was hurt George Pickin was better when George kind of checked out Lamb was better..

Lamb has shown in the past that he can be the primary we just need a solid WR2 we don't need a $35 million second receiver..

Again, I'm not opposed to it but if we're talking about using the draft and the money you can save it only makes sense to me that you let George Pickens leave...

Then keep waiting. As there is no analogy to use. Glad you been happy the past 30 years.
When you get called out, it’s back to something that makes no sense whatsoever. Since you jumped all over the place. Serious question, are you a teenager?

I think we trade the second first round pick to a team wanting to move up for a QB to get the 5th year option to get more picks to offset what we have already traded away. Only way we keep it is if someone has really slid down the board that it ranked much higher. If we draft anything but Defense Jerry should retire asap.
I’ve been looking at the draft pick situation. It’s obviously going to depend on who is on the board when we pick and the tier that those players are in when we go on the clock. If we can stay between 11 and 14. The Cowboys could conceivably drop about 7 slots and receive a 1st, 2nd and 3rd as compensation for that move and that’s about in line with the draft value chart.

Of course you have to have a trade partner to do that and a player that they want and we don’t. But how the board is stacked will matter.

So now we are concerned about draft position with one game left in the season. You can’t make this stuff up.
Figured everyone was sold this team wasn’t playoff worthy after getting curb stomped by the Cardinals.

Jones boys have these playoff run believers that strippers actually like them for their personality.

Here is the rooting guide for our Draft Positioning.
Currently 14th.
We could finish from 11th to 18th, big swing in play.

If we lose, we can finish as high as 11th. or as low as 14th.
So if we lose we need.
Falcons to beat Saints
Dolphins to beat Patriots
Buccs to beat Panthers (game is on Saturday)

If we win, we can finish as high as 14 or as low as 18.
So if we win, we need.
Lions to beat Bears
Colts to beat Texans
Panthers to beat Buccs (game is on Saturday)
Ravens to beat Steelers
Vikings to beat Packers (which we want this to happen anyhow)
As long as it's not a player from Michigan the Cowboys are safe!!!!!!!!

Nice work. You should probably send this to Jerry and Stephen because I doubt they have thought about it.

Are you talking about Jerry or fans now concerned about draft picks. Realistic fans have been talking about our future for weeks. Stupid Jerry not so much.

There is a 21 page thread( why is Dak playing in these meaningless games)started last week, on all the reasons why we should be playing for draft picks when out of the playoff chase.

And the draft guide has been posted to the Draft Zone since 11/18 and it has had weekly draft position updates

This is a huge difference!
Jerry needs to make sure on Sunday Dak, and 5-6 other starters, are sitting on the bench. Jerry MUST be focusing on our future this Sunday!

Dumb and Dumber are thinking about emotional meaningless wins that can very easily adversely effect our draft position and future success!

Giants can still beat us at home with Eberflus’s terrible scheme and Shotty’s inconsistent offense.
