I had no idea that hammerhead sharks were endangered. Would the average person know that? Probably not.

You would know after the game warden was writing up the fine.

I really have my doubts about some of the animal rights organizations . Recently there was a cockfight raided by law enforcement in a small town close to my home . The gamecocks were turned over to one of the animal rights organizations and they destroyed them . I can't understand these actions at all . I have seen these same actions with dogs as well and destroying the animals is common . Can somebody with some knowledge of these organizations please help explain this ?

Animals that are used for fighting are unable to co-exist with other animals in a normal environment. They attack each other relentlessly because they are taught to fight to the death.

Typically there is no way you could trust a fighting dog around kids or other pets without extensive rehabilitation, ala the Michael Vick dogs. Most animal control environments don't have the resources for something on an extended timeline like that. Most rescue organizations don't either.

It's sad, because it's not the animal's fault, but they are the ones that pay the price.

Per the article, they catch and release but sometimes they die when they are reeling them in. Also, when fishing -- and anyone can correct this if you know better -- but I don't believe you have a choice about what gets on the hook. They do or they don't.

I'm not in on this one....but I suspect if she was so not verbally vile at times most could care less about her dress size.

That's why almost all comments about her in this thread are relative to her weight?

She's not Emily Post, but I wouldn't say vile. Outspoken, sure, but there are plenty of people that are equally outspoken.

well people attack the obvious - like i've said in other posts, just human nature. i'm 6'4" and 370 so yea, people will make fun of size, esp if they don't know me. i for one don't care about her size - i can relate too well. :>)

i just find her annoying.

I think you have a good point . She is a very abrasive woman . I disagree with 90% of everything that comes out of her mouth .
