The Cowboys have released return specialist Allen Rossum and signed cornerback Cletis Gordon.
Rossum's return home did not go as planned. He returned one kickoff for 14 yards and suffered a hamstring injury that kept him on the sideline for the last month.
Gordon was with the Cowboys for one game earlier this year before his release. His signing was necessary because of the injury to safety Ken Hamlin forced Alan Ball in the lineup, weakening the cornerback spot.

Hoofbite;3096423 said:Hated the Rossum signing from the start. Not enough room for multiple guys who only do 1 thing a couple times per game.
Surprised they have signed a dedicated FG holder.

Word Mofo;3096488 said:So is this a sign Jenkins is hurt more than we think? We are looking mighty thin at CB if Jenkins is out. Also, can he use Dave Campo to demonstrate a jam technique like Terence Newman?
