Cowboys released DB Allen Rossum.

Rossum, signed five weeks ago as return help, was hurt for the entirety of his stay on the roster. Patrick Crayton has settled in as the team's punt returner, with Felix Jones on kicks. Rossum, 34, is at the end of the line.

It will be interesting to see if we invite him to camp next summer. Personally I wish we go younger if we still feel the need for a return guy.

I wonder how much better in the Coaches eyes Gordon is over Mike Mickens, who I would have kept a couple of weeks back over Rossum, or did Jerry just keep Rossum around so as not to pay an injury settlement?.
