What happens if Bledsoe does have a bad back or some other injury? After Romo there is no backup other than WR Crayton. To add a QB means someone has to be cut. Who? Suisham would be the logical candidate as long as Vanderjagt can play. If not, the Cowboys would lose another player. LB Hojte? WR Hurd? CB Glenn? Hojte and Hurd would never clear waivers. CB Glenn would be a FA and would probably not sign with another team for a week or two and could come back, IMO.

Not a good scenario if Bledsoe's hurt.

Matt Baker would more than likely be called up from the pactice squade.

If they don't protect Bledsoe better as the season goes on, ... well it makes my head hurt to think it would be Romo and some guys that have taken snaps before...

Just think if Romo has to come in and struggles we get to hear about why doesn't Dallas put Baker in the game. :lmao2:

The point of this thread is that to make room for another Qb, to add to the roster, ONE person has to be cut! Who would that one person be? Suisham would be first choice as long as Vanderjagt can play. If not,...?

Why do people digress so much. I sometimes wonder if people can actually read.

Glenn? No way - you don't try to talk a long time veteran and former Pro-Bowler into losing his salary for a few weeks and then come back with a smile on his face. Besides, how does it make sense to cut a guy that gets regualar playing time?

Miles Austin would be a possibility - probably over Hurd.

Thanks for the picture of Brett Favre! You're hilarious. I can't stop laughing...at you and your futile attempt at humor. Did you even read the post at all? I wish this site had a corner dedicated to people with stupid jokes that aren't even remotely funny.

I can't wait.......:lmao2: If I don't have a QB to complain about I become very bored. :)

Actually, I can't wait for the day we have a starting QB that I can spend my time putting him on pedistal.

Actually we would know what to do in the draft in 2007. It's time we either stole a GREAT qb from some team (would never happen) or start grooming one from the draft --- if Bledsoe and Romo don't pan out.

I wish this site had a forum for uptight people that take themselves too seriously.

If Bledsoe was injured he would be inactive for the game and Baker would take over backup so no one would need to be released.

Will probably move one of the receivers to Practice Squad to make room.

And how would we do that if other teams were reported to be wanting to claim them?

Hurd, Austin, and even Rector are dime a dozen wide receivers. None are going to get significant playing time this year, if any, and if a 6th WR was needed later this year, there are a lot of WRs stashed on practice squads around the league.

How many WRs will be drafted next year on the second day. They are a dime a dozen

I don't know that this works since Baker isn't on the active roster. I believe since he is on the practice squad there would have to be room made somewhere.
