Roster needs for next season

The offseason begins early here in Dallas. The team totally underachieved. It was said the 2019 cowboys were the FIRST team to have a 4000 yard QB two 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard rusher and not make the playoffs.
In my opinion we need either a dynamic tightend, DT or safety. We need a top free agent again next season. Hopefully Witten comes back for one more season to mentor a new TE for the future. What offseason needs do you say we need?

Witten only blocked the development of TE Blake Jarwin. Look at their stats:

TE Witten 63 catches 79 targets 5 drops 529 yards 8.4 YPC 4 TD's

TE Jarwin 31 catches 40 targets 2 drops 365 yards 11.8 YPC 3 TD's


Jarwin was a more viable threat to stretch the defense with his YAC ability whereas Witten not so much. Personally I say Dallas should be done with Witten and move on with Jarwin and a young TE.

Well if people are objective then it has to be quarterback.

With competent QB play we would have beaten the Eagles and made the play offs.

Then add in all of the other losses it cost us a first round bye in the play offs.

But let's keep it easy, a better quarterback would have beaten the Eagles and Prescott didn't carry the team in any other game.

So it's pretty simple.
