Roster Questions: What are Synjyn Days chances at the 53

A name that has been intriguing Cowboys fans since signing as a UDFA is HB Synjyn Days. Due to limited amount of tape not a whole lot is known about Days, however he appears to be a very strong and physical runner and seems to be well suited for our blocking scheme. One thing Dallas lacks at the HB position is a true power runner, a guy to get those "dirty yards". That could potentially be Days ticket to the 53. However given the limited tape on him and not playing a true HB position, one can assume that Days is at least somewhat raw.

How do you feel about Days chances at making the 53?

Unless we get AP his chances our better.. Synjyn Days is a beast, not fast but tough runner with good cutting ability.

I'd go lower.

I really believe our RBs will be what's been there. McFadden, Randle and Dunbar.

Sadly I think chances to make the roster have more to do with the lack of talent on hand then his ability. I think he has a decent shot at beating Williams and Dunbar for a roster spot simply because they are not good HBs and dont really offer us anything we dont have.

I would honestly give him a 25% chance

How do you feel about Days chances at making the 53?

One of the things team consider when cutting players is which ones will pass through waivers and make it to the practice squad. He has a high probability of making it to the PS.

Several spots tend to open up during the season due to injuries and whatnot. It's good to have players on the PS that can come in and play if needed.

I know one thing from watching video on this kid he is a hard runner, tough, and makes good cuts, a year or 2 on practice team might not be a bad thing for the Cowboys.
