Roster Questions: What are Synjyn Days chances at the 53

There is a reason he was an undrafted free agent.

Georgia Tech's offense gives no favors to running backs, or any offensive player for that matter, when it comes to the NFL.

While he may be fit as a runner, he was relatively unproven as a running back and there are always questions on how big of a liability he is in the passing game.

His chance will come from how well he can excel on STs. If he can make an impact on the kickoff/punt teams, then I think the coaches will have a harder time letting him go. He's not a home run threat, but he's a guy who can excel in our zone blocking scheme and can make cuts without losing momentum.

If the FO doesn't bring in AP, I think he has a shot at making the squad, if they go with 4 running backs.

What's all the interest about Days lately...is he the new "ram it down your throat" pet cat for people....j/k, it's what we are here for......I think PS player at best at his point. need to see him at TC
I also think his threads may start to rival the number of AP threads.

A name that has been intriguing Cowboys fans since signing as a UDFA is HB Synjyn Days. Due to limited amount of tape not a whole lot is known about Days, however he appears to be a very strong and physical runner and seems to be well suited for our blocking scheme. One thing Dallas lacks at the HB position is a true power runner, a guy to get those "dirty yards". That could potentially be Days ticket to the 53. However given the limited tape on him and not playing a true HB position, one can assume that Days is at least somewhat raw.

How do you feel about Days chances at making the 53?

I hope 0% I watched him play against my the U (favorite college team of mine) and he was awful


If he does it speaks to me how bad our RB depth is

I think the Texas Tech RB Kenny Williams has a better shot than Days does. I doubt either make the roster over Ryan Williams though.

I like this guy,he is slow but if he has vision and power then it wont matter much.i cant wait till TC.
