Not if we keep playing that soft defense... Goligoski has been trash on Defense. (He might open up a pastry shop after this year with all the turnovers he has)

He has scored some goals which helps some but we are really missing Seguin right now... Without picking up Johns and Russell we wouldn't have made it past the first round.

Yea, It seems to be a recurring theme to.....get up early and just play D rest of the game....IT DOESNT WORK!! Keep up the offensive and maybe we beat the Wild in 5 games instead of 6...and maybe we got this Blues series wrapped up in 5 or 6 instead of goin to a game 7........and yes, for once, Kari was a beast.....I dont blame him for our losses, but he has been less than stellar before tonights gem........

I dont know much about hockey, can someone explain why the Stars couldn't control the puck seemingly at all? I started watching in the 2nd and it was 3-1 Stars and they seemed to be playing all defense, slapping the puck up the ice and getting multiple icing calls, rarely able to make runs on offense whereas St Louis seemed to constantly control the puck in the Stars end.

Amazing to me the stars won, they looked like they were getting dominated to my naive eyes

Im no expert either, I only watch a few regular season games but am glued to every playoff game. But its the same as in any sport, the team thats up late or up big early, tends to go on the defensive.....Too afraid that continuing a foot on the pedal approach creates mishaps that the opposition can capitalize on......

Man. I'm sorry but I've said this for the past nearly 20 years. The Stanley Cup Playoffs are the best out of the four major sports. You will add years on your life if your team is playing in these playoffs.

I agree with it being the best playoffs, theres nothin more exciting, especially a game 6 or 7 OT game.......but the last part. seriously? lol I think its the other way around, your team in the NHL playoffs will take years OFF your life......shoot I just watched the Pens-Caps game with no real rootin interest, except my hatred of all things Pittsburgh, and I was on edge.....The Pens game winner made me jump out my chair cussin for the first time since Romo went down the second time this past year.....oh well, they also told us in elementary that every cig smoked takes 7 seconds off your life haha......

My team didn't even make the playoffs and I am as excited about tonight's game seven as I've been for most any sporting event.
