She isn't going to come out planning to try and bang with Holms again.

UFC president Dana White told Los Angeles Times on Wednesday that "it's Rousey" next for Holm. The Times printed a story earlier this week, quoting Holm's manager, Lenny Fresquez, stating Holm has interest in fighting Miesha Tate instead.


Fresquez told the Times: "Holly's used to staying active. We're from the old school, and we believe the No. 1 contender is there for a reason. [Tate] deserves a shot, but it's not for me to decide."

I think the skill gap looked wide because she went outside her style. She got cocky and thought she could beat anyone at their own game. You can't kickbox with a world champ kickboxer, and Holm couldn't grapple with Rousey.

It looked like she was fighting outside of her style because she was chasing and pressuring Rousey.

She tried and did get Holm down once but Holm got away with no real threat.

Also, Holm did take Rousey down.


I don't see any way Rousey beats her unless she pulls off a lucky armbar.

Holly earned the right to take other fights.

She could ruin the buildup if she loses though.

Fight was over when Rousey caught that elbow square in the kisser. Said she was concussed. I think unless the next fight is fixed to set up a third more lucrative match, Holm win the rematch. Styles make fights and matador beats bull.
