Man I love having Roy back at SS...he is the best in the league.

I love when we string plays out where the running back is going east west and Roys comes in like a bullet out of no where....he is an absolute playmaker!

I totally agree.. It's awesome to see him back in form. I love seeing the big hits he puts on wr's catching passes over the middle, but I much prefer him in the backfield causing RB's and QB's running for there lives :)

He tackles different than most everyone in the league. He comes so fast at guys that they do not even have time to make a move on him and I think most offensive players are used to defenders breaking down to make a tackle. RW does not break down to make a tackle, he just runs right through you!!

Yeah he does....he has great closing speed. Just wait until Ware and Spears get more comfy...he will even get more opportunities to go to the ball.

RW's is entering his prime. Dare we think he hasnt even scratched the surface how good a SS he's going to be? For years Ronnie Lott set the standard for safety play...now Roy can reset it.

What's special about Roy is he doesn't just hit you hard. He makes sure you go down. Some hard hitters don't do that. But if you see Roy miss a tackle it's a rare thing. Even when he takes bad angles he makes the tackles usually.

2003 on the westbrook td in philly

then the seahawks game this year at the 1

and last year when he got stiff armed by chris brown.

If Roy is able to play in a more comfortable position this season it will be b/c of 1 guy - Henry. He had a great start to the season and will be a Pro Bowl starter if this level of play continues. Henry may prove to be the best signing of the off-season.

Roy should make more plays this year and again be seen as one of the elite safeties in the league, but the credit goes to Henry

I'm loving the addition of both Henry and Glen....talk about a major upgrade back there....

I really think we will see both Roy and Ware pin their ears back against the Skins...their offense sucks and they will be relentless against them in the backfield knowing we have CB's that can cover....

San Diego and Washington give Dallas the LUXORY of playing the SS close to the line of scrimmage for most of the game. And it is a luxory. A luxory that we're not going to be able to afford all season. When we play Oakland with Randy Moss and Joey Porter, we won't be able to afford having one of starting defensive backs playing like a linebacker in a safety's uniform.

Why Roy was not given the biscuit and moved to SS (Part time LB) last year. He is below average in coverage and a stud in the box. Put him in the box. Go get a FS. Davis the FS answer - I still have reservations. And our ST is suffering on Coverage?

:hammer: I wonder how long BP will go with Davis if he has another game like the San Diego game.

When Roy is prancing around the field, he is dangerous. Sometimes he seems like he's everywhere - but the FS position has got to get better play, and quick!

I bemoaned FS all offseason -

For a team so close I can't believe we are $5M Under cap and have not addressed. And now we have taken Davis, our stud ST guy out of that mix.

Maybe Pile can step up?
