Roy was great in that interview.

Its a shame that a handful of the hacks that write and report on the cowboys locally have made roy back away from the media.

If he did more media the collection of jerks who bag on roy would back off.

Roy's comments of I love Bill and he is still in this football team said alot to me.

Good job roy.

Ditto. Who knew ... Roy is human too. (Just like TO.) What is the world coming to? We just might be going to the super bowl. Roy is being too cooperative this week. Something is up:lombardi:

It sounded like they had become friends. He mentioned Taylor had found Christ and turned his life around in the past year. Said he was looking for him during the Skins game so he could talk to him, because he didn't even know he was hurt. Said that now, he'll never get that chance. Then he said he'd be wearing the 21 on his helmet and mentioned how he looked up to Taylor because he was a great player. It was very sad, but a good piece..

To those of us that are Christians, this is always a relief to hear.

Agreed. It doesn't matter what some have said about his past, there's only one opinion that counts.

won't Roy get fined for wearing taylor's # on his helmet?

he probably will, but he won't care...

i think the players should send a message to the league by having every player wear a #21 on their helmets, have them all get fined, and then like match the fine amounts and give money to Taylor's family

I'm not even Christian, and it's still good to hear.

Religion, among other things, allows us to make good decisions and be better people. (JMO of course)

I totally agree, it puts the heart at ease to know what he believed and where he is now.

i can't be dishonest that i would always hope to see him get burned on the field and screw up b/c he there was always something about him that i disliked, though i'm sure a lot had to do with him being a Commander....but this all puts into perspective how petty the Cowboys/Commanders rivalry and all that has to do with the game is

i look forward to finding out the results of the investigation into this, it all just seems to strange, with the knife left in the house last week, and all that.

maybe it's just me, but it sounds almost like a personal attack, like whoever it was knew him or something, it just doesn't add up

depends on the religion of course ;) voodoo, satanism, wicca are religions but I'm not sure they make you better people.

exactly, belief in santa claus, or baby jesus, Damballah, Casper the ghost or any other supernatural entities is not required at all for being a good person and in many cases keeps you from being all that you could be because of the confines and built in prejudices of said beliefs.
