Comments like these just make me wonder  .

What is wrong with his comments? What does it make you wonder?

IMO, Roy is open and honest and he is clearly happy. He also states how much he admires Miles. I guess he just can't catch a break at all from some fans.

Actually, I have been defending Roy Williams the last few weeks.

I just found the comment a little odd.

That is because Roy is a little odd but that is ok in my book, lol.

one decent game doesn't make up for his alligator arms and not being able to run a decent out route all the rest of the games he's been here. LOVE to see him continue to do what he's paid to do however: if so, we'll be in the Super Bowl.

He seems much more humble than he was earlier in a year - not so much what he said but how he said it - much more sincere. I do hope he takes this season to heart and does what it takes to get back to his form in 2006. We'd be have the best set of skill position players that I can ever recall, assuming Felix can keep doing his thing as the starter.

I can't wait for this game to start. We've got a good chance here to advance to the NFCC game.

Roy has had his problems since coming to Dallas...that's for sure...but he is a high character person. It takes alot to say the right things in the face of being discouraged. I know he has done his share to contribute to not getting thrown at much, but I still believe he hasn't been used to his full capability in the offense.

You have an uncanny ability to say things that are completely baffling and wrong. One could look like a genius just by saying the complete opposite of whatever you say.

Roy seemed genuine when he was cheering like crazy for Miles last night on the replay of the game...

Indeed, that is why I don't get the Roy hate. Oh well, hate on hatas.

I could be wrong but defenses double team him quite a bit of the time. When left to single coverage he seems to do pretty well.

You are not wrong. Philly was saying one thing in the media but came game time they alternated between doubling both Miles and Roy.

Oh, c'mon 'Frosty' don't get all butt hurt. RW has been completely underwhelming in terms of his WHOLE body of work. The fact you can't admit that, amuses me: as does most of what you say......not a "hata" BTW, just calling it like I see it. If you don't like it......oh well.

I like RW but I have been very disappointed in the season he has had. I'm sure RW expects more out of himself as well. Right now he can't go back and change how this season has gone but what he can do is build off of last week’s game and try to contribute to this team

EXACTLY 'stilltheguru'. It's obvious this guy is a UT fan because one good game last week doesn't excuse all the droppped passes since he's been in town. Did he turn the corner last week? Maybe, we'll see this week and into the future, but the fact is he hasn't been worth what we spent on him: PERIOD. But some folks are more cheerleaders than anything else, so take it with a grain of salt.

How can I not like him? Because up until last week-end, he's severely underperformed.

He's not getting paid to be a cheerleader.

"But he's a good teammate"
