EXACTLY 'stilltheguru'. It's obvious this guy is a UT fan because one good game last week doesn't excuse all the droppped passes since he's been in town. Did he turn the corner last week? Maybe, we'll see this week and into the future, but the fact is he hasn't been worth what we spent on him: PERIOD. But some folks are more cheerleaders than anything else, so take it with a grain of salt.

Like I said a genius.

I like him. I like his attitude. I believe he's going to continue to improve and one day, eventually, people will forget that they really didn't like him in the beginning.

.......Can't even give you the benefit of the DOUBT without you getting butt hurt Frosty! The overwhelming majority of the posters in this thread DISAGREE with your assertion.....we don't have to like RW after one decent game. I assumed (albeit wrongly) that you're a UT fan to say something so lame and sadly misguided. So, I was wrong: you're not a UT fan, but you're still clueless. Congrats!

10 posters on this thread have stated they like Roy Williams (including me).

3 said they do not.

And one of them is stilltheguru (which kinda ruins the whole argument)

So "Frosty" was right.

The majority of your posts are filled with sheer buffoonery and foolishness. In addition, having you say that I am clueless is truly a compliment. Like I said earlier, whatever misguided opinion you state, the opposite is usually true. You use generalization as facts and absolutes this makes you look foolish. Yet you stand up as the tallest midget and beat your tiny fist against your tiny chest while saying the very people who never say anything positive about the cowboys disagrees with me…. that makes me smile. You are too unintentionally comical.

That much is obvious unless you have an axe to grind or some foolish agenda.

Roy Williams is going to have a big game this week.
How long have we been saying that? I've been telling myself that for quite awhile...

However, I think he gets too much criticism, he didn't force Jerry to give up the farm for him. He is a solid no. 2 that will hurt you if you leave him on an island with a sub par corner. I think (hope) that you are correct tyke1doe, it will make us darn near unstoppable.

:laugh2: at the piss match in this thread.

You are not wrong. Philly was saying one thing in the media but came game time they alternated between doubling both Miles and Roy.

Actually, in the playoff game they gave Roy a lot of single coverage (first half), because their previous efforts of mixing coverages didn't stop Dallas in the final game of the regular season.

That is one reason the Cowboys kept going to Williams in the first half. Philly is one of the few teams to try that on a fairly consistent bases (the other that comes to mind is Green Bay), but Dallas showed that if teams want to do that, Williams can make them pay for it.

Yup, you of course are right on. I'm glad that he at least ran a few routes correctly and got rewarded for it when under single coverage. He is still one of the least productive starters in the NFL in terms of receptions per snap and Tony clearly can't trust him too much in traffic, but his limited success will at least render him a more effective decoy.

Roy does seem like a nice guy, but that really seems to be besides the point.
