Roy Flashing Hook "Em Sign on Felix Screen Pass Touchdown

Roy seals off a textbook block and creates a seem for Felix to run into. The blocking on this play is so good by all people, but especially by Roy because he never even looks behind him to see if Felix is coming. He just sees it by the way the defender is reacting.

Once the "convoy" as Aikman calls it, gets out in front, Roy is still holding off his man with ease. So he holds up the hook 'em sign at the end.

I really hope we keep the guy. I know there are a lot of haters. Roy is just funny and he really came through on that play. It's the definition of selflessness when a WR makes the key block for a long TD. If RW misses that block, the hole gets shut down and Felix likely never takes it to the house.

Still think he needs more redzone targets, especially inside the 10 yard line. He's a TD-Maker, we should not struggle to score TDs when we get down there with Dez and Roy. Put them 1 on 1 and just throw it up to them.

Dez is better at the jump ball, but Roy can do it. I think it depends on what the matchup is. Roy has hands. He didn't show it last year, but I've never seen him have a year like last year in terms of drops. So I don't expect that again, especially since I've never seen it to any noticeable degree before last year.

He has always been a good run blocker. In fact, he's highly underrated. Using this play as example of how I was saying that the offense looks like a "process", as in the rhythm and tempo of the plays are developing into what they're designed to and so things unfold. Roy fakes the defender by running a fake fly route on him and then seals him off with a block downfield.

Everyone else in the screen follows suit with the rhythm of the play.

I can also show video evidence of how someone coached the oline to simply set their feet and use their whole body to sprawl and slow down a defender... it was giving Kitna a lot more time, and it was simple, technique issues.

Not the most glamorous of tasks as a WR, but Roy does it proudly.

And you should be proud he's a Cowboy, just as I am for Garrett.

I'm a skeptic of Garrett. But I keep it quiet and listen to the others opinions about him. It turns out when I listen and keep an open mind then I, of all people, actually learn more.

The beginning of the season he was Tony's go to guy in the red zone. Had 5 TD's in the first few games. He's just not getting the looks lately, but he's been productive when thrown to this year. I'm glad to have him on the team. Nice block.

Nothing wrong with Roy Williams at all. He has been a good receiver this year and has pulled his weight. Remember he was the main reason we won against Houston.

I want him back as a Cowboy. He is mr. clutch. He is a good target in the redzone. And he doesn't mind taken a step back to let Dez be the man.

He has been a good Cowboy this year and all you haters should know he plays for your favorite team as well. Doesn't that count for something?

Cant believe people are still hating on RW. He's had a really good year and his hands this yr have been money.

He's made alot of great catches this year.

Roy also sold the play action at the LOS by raising his arm and calling for the ball before the snap. Just another small wrinkle that can make a defender think twice or miss a read.
