Again - let me reiterate for the clown patrol- Roy Williams is the worst player in the NFL when the ball is in the air.

The problem with Eagle, er, Dallas fans like you is that you OVERDO IT. You took a nice, competent safety like Roy and tried to turn him into a superstar at his position. You elevated him into something he was not. Hell, you can't even concede that he's bad at pass coverage--a fact readily apparent to all sports writers, opposing offensive coaches, and objective fans everywhere. Not on my watch, kid.

I still think the sheep thing is hilarious, considering you get that schtick from a radio show host, effectively becoming "sheep" yourself. In a similar vein, you cite Roy's bad coverage skills as a fact readily apparent to all......so are we to assume you are a sheep to all those outlets, as well? Because as much as you would like it to be, you and the media's "perception" of Roy, is not "fact." The facts, stats, show that Roy is a heck of a safety. Really one of the more ******** threads I've seen in a while. Yes, maybe Williams is overrated, but I still think he's at least top 3 in the NFC. Plus there were several more galling selections than Roy (ex. Hall over Newman, Driver over Owens to site two examples of Cowboy snubs.)

Is Roy a liability or are opinions based on little actual football knowledge taking over and creating a perception that is far from reality when pertaining to ROY in coverage?

Roy Williams allowed 3 TD's through 10 games this season.

Sean Taylor allowed 4 TD's in the first 4 games of this season.

Ed Reed allowed 3 TD's through 8 games this season.

This is the last count I had on TD's allowed for these 3 players. Everybody loves to point the finger at Roy like he's the worst safety in the game, but in reality, he gives about the same # of plays as some of the safeties people consider to be the BEST in the league.

Anytime Roy gives up a pass, its headline news. Anytime any other safety gives up a pass, well, its just part of their position.
