We just have to remain vigilant. When a thread sucks, we need to call the idiots out. Ridicule, personal attacks, whatever we need until the mods actually crack down on the posters with sub-normal IQs. This is our board, we need to take it back before it becomes TheRanch.

wow, some of you guys take it a bit far.

The only SS's in the NFC anywhere near the production and talent of Roy and Adrian Wilson are Lawyer Milloy who's like 35 now, Mike Brown who's been hurt all season, and then maybe Corey Chavous/Darren Sharper neither of whom are having a particularly good season. Gibril Wilson maybe, but his stats are inflated due to an inept Giants defense at times.

I've been looking for the thread rating system all day long with these awful threads popping up today, and I can't find it. I'm sure I'm missing it and it's right in front of my face, but can someone point it out to me.

Again - let me reiterate for the clown patrol- Roy Williams is the worst player in the NFL when the ball is in the air. He is great at the LOS and at the point of contact. However , when the rock is in the air , he freezes. He was beaten badly by Crumpler on a rare Vick miss or else that play goes 60 yds to the house. He let Vick hit a deep bomb where Roy didn't step up and instead made the tackle. At one point Dallas safeties had given up 11 TD's 5 for Roy 5 for Watkins 1 for Davis, that was like after week 7 or 8!
Plax Burress scorched Roy and Laffkins on MNF and Plaxico made a great post game point - Roy couldn't blame the ref banging into him b/c he was so far out of position to begin with -Roy took the complete wrong route.

Face it - Roy should be playing ILB in the 3-4 and he's never gotten over the loss of DWoodson (not a great cover man either) but far better that Roy.

Give me a friggin break. The worst player when the ball is in the air?? Hyperbole much?

How is he the second S in the league in INTs?

And defending Plax? Did you even see that play? How do you NOT blame the ref when he's right there next to the play? The back judge should never be that close to the action.

That's not to say that Roy would have made the play... I don't know that, and neither do you. And don't pretend you know that he was out of position. You have no idea what his responsibilities were on that play. Watkins was on Burress... Roy can't be expected to cover the other half of the field AND hold Watkins hand.

But by all means, get all the stupid campaigning against Roy out of your system. Maybe it will help you get over it.
