Taps-n-1, Let me give you some advise. Pick your words carefully when addressing Mr. AdamJT13. I have been reading Mr. AdamJT13 posts since I believe 2002 on another board and here. Not once has he been wrong on a point of fact regarding the NFL or the Dallas Cowboys. He very rarely injects personal opinion. I have yet to seem him loose a major debate when being challenged.

Then again this is just my opinion. Good luck and happy posting.

AdamJT13 is probably the most respected guy on this board when it comes to info about the Cowboys.

I trust what he post more than anything I see by any of the Mediots.

If you are gonna try to get in a "pissing" match with him he is gonna beat you senseless with the facts.

And if you are gonna refer to those of us who take what he says as fact as sheep ....... then there is gonna be a LONG line that includes me, probably all the mods and long time posters on this board.

There's plenty of times that call is made, regardless of what the intent was, or who the blow was delivered to, or what the defender led with.

It, like probably 80% of calls, is subjective, (i.e. Owens' delay of game penalty). What "rule" are you gonna cite, if/when, the league comes down w/ a fine, huh Poindexter?

I'm sure your a real knowledgeable "fan" and all, but MAN, does your "I know better than that guy" act get old.

I was listening to Norm last night after the game and he explained the Horsecollar rule. He said that if you have your hand on the FRONT of a player at the same time you have your hand on the back, it can not be considered a horsecollar tackle. Since Roy obviously had his hand on the front (facemask penalty) then it could not have been a horsecollar.

One thing that Norm did say was that he was stunned that TNew didn't called for a helmet to helmet hit our of bounds on that play.

This is an interesting post, btw. I hope Roy avoids the fine for this altogether.

Regarding the horse collar, I thought a horse collar is the tackling player has his hand inside the neck area of the shoulder pad and pulls the ball carrier down and it isn't a horse collar if the player brings him down the same way but only grasps the shirt?

You can grab that inside of the collar and bring a ball carrier down. It's a "Horse Collar" infraction when the defender goes to the ground and uses his body weight to "Immediately" bring the ball carrier down.

Roy Williams. Damned if he do, damned if he don't. After the Bears game all i heard was how Roy should make the tackle and stop trying to "man up and hit him". Now he actually makes the tackle and he gets criticized for it.

Tell Marshawn Lynch to man up and not run out of bounds next time Roy is going after him. But im sure nobody noticed that. Nor did anyone notice that Roy was the first person that Lynch congratulated after the game. But who cares about that.
