What that doesn't include are the times Taylor has been burnt alive this season.

He's been scorched like our FS's so far.

Taylor's always been an inferior player to Roy. He has better pure cover skills but is more easily fooled IMO. Every year is supposed to be his "breakout, Pro Bowl" year. Good player, but nothing to write home about from what I've seen.

Like you insinuated, for all the grief Roy gets for giving up big plays, look no further than Sean Taylor.

Having trouble sleeping as well are we?

Seems to be a theme here tonight ... now I wonder why that would be? :)

Visions of Tony Romo throwing touchdown passes keep dancing through my head.

Which wouldn't be all that bad if not for the loud eruption with every said touchdown pass. Kinda disturbs the sleeping process. :)

The vibes so thick ... it smells of early 90's.

It's funny how competency at the quarterback position changes everything.

I was too young to really remember the majority of Troy's prime. That, and my dad being in the Air Force made it impossible to watch the team on a weekly basis there for a while. My most vivid memories of him were in his latter years. And with the parts around him deteriorating, along with his own skills, that version wasn't all that special to watch.

So, to me, this is especially refreshing to finally see greatness at the position.

We tried so hard to scoot along with decency at the position. I've recorded most every game over the last eight or so years, and I couldn't imagine going back and watching a game of, say, Carter.

Romo's play really debunks the theory that you can consistently win with a bus driver (if one is using the term in the sense that it is opposed to playmaker or what not). The elite teams have difference makers at quarterback. It's really always that way, 10 times out of 12. It's nice to finally be back in that group.

I agree with ya ... you can win it all with a great stretch run with just a bus driver. But if you want to compete for a championship year to year you better have someone at that position who can get it done.

Baltimore made a great stretch run with a bus driver. As great as that 85 Bears team was we refer to them as a singular year team. Had they had the real McCoy at QB it would have been more than that.

Everyone else on that Raven team had to play flawlessly to attain that championship ... there was no margin for error. That's what has changed most for our Cowboy's since Romo's taking over.

The margin for error for this team has increased expotentially and the great thing is it's not a one year fad. I'm convinced now Romo's the real deal and as such no matter what becomes of this year we will be in the hunt for titles for years to come.

Because everyone else no longer has to be perfect for us to be in the hunt.

I agree with most here, Romo gives us the chance to beat anyone, and we don't have to be perfect to win, cause the offense is now explosive.

I just think really we have won as a team right now. There is no player of the year on this team, hopefully we can finish as the team of the year with a ring. That's all I care about right now.
