Not necessarily.....the NFL Rules Committee is considering a rule in which the opposing player asks "May I" before a hit of that nature

Man, prime Roy was one of my favorite players to watch college and pro but man….we could’ve had Ed Reed, who’s HoF career lasted a long time. Roy flamed out after a few years and the league basically outlawed all his tactics
