That is not what he was doing. Its been reported many, many times that he claimed that he couldn't see the ball because of the lights reflecting on his visor. He took off the visor on the sidelines right after that.

Funny how LT in San Diego has worn a black visor since forever and I have never seen a ball bounce off his facemask.

The excuses never stop with this guy, either the light was reflecting off his visor or the sun was in his eyes or the ball was thrown too high or the ball was thrown to low or the ball was thrown behind him or he doesnt know where to line up or he doesnt know the snap count or he is still learning the playbook, ect........

I am sick of all these excuses, it has been a freaking year and a half since the trade and the bottom line is Roy is not producing anywhere near expectations.

In 9 games Roy has 3 TDs, so him getting to 10 TDs for the season means he has to get at least 1 TD every freaking game the rest of the season. No way in hell that happens, it is laughable.:laugh2:

I think some people are happy he fumbled, so that they could complain about him more.

If that play never happens, they'd be even more miserable because the team likely would have gone 3 and out again and punted and everything would have been pretty much the same except they'd be whining that Roy sucks because he only had 60 yards and a drop.
:laugh2:wow dude, I smoked 3 cigarettes after that

I'd rather RW not do **** and us win then him get these stats and us lose.

Sweet Jay-sus, preserve me from fools...

If Roy does "****", it will make the Cowboys more dangerous... IOW, it will make them more likely to win... which means Roy doing "****" is a GOOD thing...

Critical thinking isn't your strong suit, is it??

I can almost promise if Ogletree was our starting wr from day 1 this season he would have better numbers than RW, and we'd probably be 7-2 right now.

Once again, I'm staggered by your total lack of anything resembling football knowledge...

Are you sure you're not a Skins fan?? :D

Fans want him to pan out. Surprise!
RW himself is stand up, though.
I agree, and he shoulders the blame when he makes mistakes. I don't believe I have heard him make too many excuses or pass the blame to someone else.

He's sensitive to unfair criticism and isn't afraid to say it--which is why I think some of our fans think he makes excuses, but when he legitimately messes up, he owns it.

I like the guy less now that I hear more direct quotes from him (because he is so thinned skinned), but he sure seems like a good teammate. He's obviously working hard to have a bigger impact for the team. As long as he or Austin pans out and they can work together, I don't see what there is to get upset about.

I would hope Roy Williams does explode onto the scene with some help at winning games and not help losing them.

I have a feeling that were going to see Roy williams become the number 1 Wr here in the last 7 games of the season. Im seeing him having some huge games coming up for us. I just think Romo and him have got something going now .

Right now he has 3 td's , I wouldn't be surprised to see him end with 10 by years end

Does this type of thread pop up ever week or is this the same thread being dredged up again and again?

Williams isn't going to *bust out*. If he does, he will go right back to sleep.

I will remain with that belief until his will to excel changes.

The Cowboys' offense has not been as good the last few weeks as it was previously.

Waiting for Roy Williams to explode instead of letting Miles Austin be the feature WR is the primary reason why.

I'm just starting to see somethings from him that makes me think he's really going to explode this second half of the season. He started off great last week besides a few fluke sort of plays that went against him. Did you see how easy he caught that fade route? There's not many wr's in the league that can make it look that easy. Trust me Romo is going to be looking for him alot in the redzone, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with more then 10 Td's even.

Fluke plays are a ball hitting the ankle of Jason Witten and bouncing nicely into the hands of Safety Phillips for the Giants.

Roy fumbling and not catching a ball that was in his hands is not a "fluke".

It's called lack of concentration.

Don't care if he explodes or not anymore, just want Dallas to win.

Teams putting more focus on Miles has a lot to do with that. Miles did get the ball thrown his way in the game he also dropped what could have been a big play.

Dday, I know I've probably had to tell you this at least once in the past, but STOP POSTING LOGIC ON THIS BOARD. It doesn't sit too well with all the resident experts. By the way, please don't tell them that Miles had the most passes thrown his way on Sunday (9 - Williams and Witten had 7 apiece).

I agree. I should just start posting emotional as so many love to do. If I had big money I would construct a large building just so they could jump from it. :lmao:

And dogging Roy over the fumble is stupid. You can see in the replay he clearly had the ball in tight, for those that haven't noticed or don't follow football Woodson is a Heisman Trophy winner, All Pro future HOF DB that tends to do things like that on a regular basis. It sucks but if he doesn't make that strip Roy likely goes all the way for a TD.
